It doesn't seem leaked because the photos have the photographer's name as credit at the bottom of each of them. (However, I too suspect the actual authenticity of the photos.)

Photos can still be leaked, anyone could have added their own credit logo, watermark, etc., at the bottom later.

Yep, the daily fail, often pictures nobody else has and a plausible sounding narrative, mostly correct (probably) but a few details guessed at to fit the story. MOO

Picture procurement: somebody on the ground sent them the photos (to earn a little money) but that way newspaper can't check if the photos are real or just set up to look that way.

If TD isn't d e a d already, he's really pulled a fast one on LE and Search Teams and is out of the area after having planned this longer and better than people have given him credit for. He could have been setting this stage for weeks.

The convenient 'How to get to Canda' goggle search, leaving behind all the things one would need if they were seriously on the run (phone, money, ID) are red flags to me. He could have hiked out of the area or to a stashed ATV/car and isn't anywhere near there now. He is a trained Army Ranger with survivalist skills, not just an ordinary Joe Blow citizen.

What better way to avoid Justice and Accountability than to fake your own death or disappearance and slip into parts unknown? How I hope this isn't the case. He murdered his 3 beautiful young daughters in such a cold blooded brutal fashion out of revenge IMO.

TD needs to face the harshest penalty for that.

With that said, he is very distinctive looking IMO. Something about his eyes. They have an Asian look to them (again, IMO), yet I don't think he's Asian, although he could be half or less.

Then there's all those tatts... Pretty distinctive looking. He can't cover those up forever. And it would raise eyebrows if he tried to in the heat of the summer. It would be like "Hmmm... What's he hiding?". Plus, LE is not going to just forget this case. No way, no how.

It's definitely something about his looks and distinctive as you said. If he's on the run (and not deceased) he won't be able to hide forever IMO.

they were reportedly killed before they were even missed. that same afternoon he picked them up from their mother's house.

It was presumably a 3 DAY head start if TD took off soon after his alleged crime.

5/30 - TD picked up his girls and LE reports he allegedly killed them that same day.

6/2 - The girls were found deceased near the campsite and TD's truck.

This is why I keep wondering why LE believes TD is in the mountain forests?

TD had plenty of time to escape far from the campsite, especially if he had some sort of transportation, even a bicycle.

That is if he was able to think logically...

LE isn't going to forget this case for sure. My point was that TD is better prepared to evade capture than an ordinary citizen. I don't believe he had a psychotic break, I think this was planned as revenge against WD.

I think TD could live off the grid for a long time without interacting with people on any consistent basis. He looks completely different in many of the past photos, especially the Army one. Buzzed haircut, clean shaven he looks much younger and like any other respectable military solider.

I mentioned the full sleeve tats before, right now they are noticeable because the media has highlighted them. A year from now in Mexico or some obscure country, probably not so much. Maybe he would tat over them?

I desperately want TD found...dead's okay, or alive and punished to the fullest extent of the law. He murdered his three precious daughters in brutal fashion. He's deserving of zip ties and a plastic bag.

The main reason I think he didn't fake his own death and plan a grand escape is he could have done this without the murders.

If he was stressed about the car insurance, bills piling up, child support and everything came to a head, he could have disappeared and got a new identity/life and/or attempt to sneak into Canada without the heinous act.

It's too bad he didn't do all that instead of feeling murder had to be part of the equation. MOO JMO

The Wenatchee Police Department is asking for assistance in locating three juvenile females believed to be missing and unable to return home on their own. All three were last seen around 5pm on Friday May 30, 2025, as they left their home with the father for their planned visitation. They have not retuned and contact cannot be made with the father.

The father, Travis Decker, is homeless and living in his vehicle or at various hotels/motels or at campgrounds in the area. The visitation was part of a parenting plan, but he has since gone outside the parameters of it which is not normal and cause for the alarm.

The current investigation has not met AMBER Alert criteria, but the situation being monitored closely. However, an Endangered Missing Person Alert (EMPA) has been issues through the Washington State Patrol.

Please be on the look out and call 911 or RiverCom at 509-663-9911 if located.

IME, even getting mandated holds and forced services is very very difficult. It took me two years to get my son into a setting where he could even be evaluated enough to receive a diagnosis. He is currently med compliant. When he is not, I cannot force him to comply. My hands are tied. Unless he is adjudicated an IMMINENT threat to self or others. And as soon as he is not, the authority to force the issue is gone.

Mentally ill people have rights. Those rights are important to prevent the sort of imprisonment and warehousing without treatment that was used so prevalently in the past to "handle" mentally ill persons.

But those laws protecting the rights of the mentally ill mean it is extremely difficult to force someone to receive treatment, whether it be counseling or meds, if they do not want it.

Just my own. Experience of others may vary.

Yes, searches are still heading south. Here is a map I created with the distance between the Rock Island campground where the girls were found and the Teanaway area. It's a little over 60+ miles. Note, I didn't include the Enchantment route where authorities believe he may have traveled. Just the most direct route between Rock Island campground and Teanaway regions.
