I would love to know exactly how a Grand Jury works. In Kiplyn Davis' case, they called a grand jury. The boys that were responsible for her disappearance were questioned under oath. They lied, and they were found guilty of perjury. I do not know why they didn't just plead the 5th. That is why I do not understand how a GJ works.

I would love to see a grand jury bring Julia, her mother, her brother, and her friends in and question them about his disappearance.

Eventually it has to happen. But I'm sure they'd rather proceed after finding a body. :twocents:

Nothing new but at least it's keeping Sky's story out there...

Police spokeswoman Carla Iafrate said Monday that police continue to focus their investigation on finding the missing child. "We have no new releasable information at this time," Iafrate said.

According to Bellevue police, one neighbor of Biryukova's claimed to have seen both children two weeks before the boy was reported missing in November. But Terry said police have told them there have been no other corroborating sightings of both children.

"What if we've been 'shuffled' or conned," he said. "What if the boy's been missing much longer than the mother has said? Who has seen Sky and when did they see him?"

If M was 29 pounds when taken from JB's custody (I presume this happened the same day Sky was reported missing), then I think it would be interesting to know what condition the neighbor saw both children in only 3 weeks prior? Surely M would have been underweight then as well -- and, likely Sky would have been, too. Of course, it's possible M lost all that weight in 3 weeks, but I doubt it.

Search and Seek: Has the neighbor been asked about the children's appearance? Did they appear of normal weight? You don't have to answer on the forum....just throwing it out there.

Does anyone know if Julia ever cooked meals? I've seen cereal, formula and fresh fruit in her apartment so I'm sure that she fed the children at least sometimes. But, did she ever cook chicken, frozen food, soups, mac & cheese, etc.?

I was sitting here thinking about IF Sky is no longer alive (I pray he is) but IF he is not, what could JB have done with him afterwards. If she didn't do much cooking then her fridge and freezer would probably be pretty empty. She could have kept him there until she figured out what she was going to do with him.

I'm so sorry that I went there but whether Sky was "disappeared" on June 16 or November 5 she would need to do something so that no one would suspect there was a dead body in her apartment.

Someone posted that we have to think like Julia. (sorry I don't recall who posted it) but the poster was spot on.

Even though it is very difficult for us to do so because we don't have her state of mind, given some of the clues, we should be able to at the very least figure out what her motive was to sell or harm Sky, if that is what happened. I'm not ruling out an abduction yet but I'll go with the most popular theories.

Sell or murder.

We've seen photos of her at what appears to be a bank. Some believe she looked distraught. Was she desperate for money? If so, what for? Was it to pay bills, feed the kids, buy a car, a plane ticket, train ticket? Did she borrow her brother's car because she didn't have enough money to purchase her own? How desperate was she for money? Enough to sell her child?

She uploaded and posted photos of the children on her flickr shortly after Sky's disappearance. Why? What message was she trying to send and to whom?

As we've seen from following other cases, there are many ways to make your child "disappear". What method would Julia use? Was she that evil to kill her only son? If so, how and when did she do so? What means did she have? We know she didn't have a car and nobody saw Sky except for the neighbour.

Did she use a baby broker? Did she sell Sky to an unknown couple or person? Did she have connections to some illegal adoption agencies or connections to the Russian or Ukraine or any other criminal organization who as we know use children for human trafficking, child porn?

Was she at the bank that day to try to get money to BUY BACK Sky after he was sold and that's when she realized there was no way she could get the money and the reason for her distraught look?

What was she looking at (gas station?). Newspaper ? Classifieds? Map?

If JB was smart enough to intentionally leave her phone at home on the day of the reported disappearance, as many here have suggested, then she likely knew not to do incriminating online searches or communications from her personal computer. I wonder if LE has looked at the computers and internet logs from the business center.

Thank you for the offer, but it is something wrong with my computer. I tried hooking up new speakers after getting a rebuilt computer tower and they still wouldn't work.

We have a wii and I can hook the wii up to the internet. I just haven't taken the time to figure out how to listen over the tv via the wii. I figured out how to pull up WS on the TV via the wii once. We just hooked it up last weekend so will eventually get around to figuring out how to do the sound. I'm just not wii remote savy, yet- lol.

It falls in line with what Jash was also referring to towards the end of the last thread -- was there evidence of a 2 year-old in the home (diapers, toddler food, etc)?

I am behind on threads, but am rejuvenated listening to Atty Terry and SM on blog radio. Wow! Those two are amazing. So refreshing -and the atty does not come across as some big fame seeking talking head as others have seen. My God, even his SISTER is helping out from home )) Precious.

In answer to this question, imo, LE surely has not found evidence of his presence in the home, otherwise, you would THINK that information would be shared with SM and his atty...???? And they would not be investigating as they are to piece together last known sightings as far back as May or June...? Surely police would share as much with them, don't you think? I just can't see SM focusing all this attention on months prior if there had been diapers and such in the home. jmho

I don't think diapers would tell you that much. If there are none she could say that he was dry already and you can have diapers at home for quite some time after there is no child in diapers. I've still got some and my youngest got rid of them in September.

He pointed out that her support had stopped in October and that might have been what prompted the Sugar Daddy site registration. He said she was not one to go out and get a job. Probably the most significant thing is the fact that LE has endorsed their efforts so far. They are keeping in regular contact with Solomon and Mr. Terry, and they have approved of their efforts to reach out to the doctor's offices and press regarding the possible sightings of Sky since May. Mr. Terry did state about the neighbor who may have saw Sky in October but apparently it is not very reliable information at this point.

iirc, she joined seeking arrangements in July 2011, not October. But either way, she perhaps was planning ahead. I wonder at what point was she informed that her maintenance/support payments from SM were to end in October? Use that date as a benchmark for her going off the deep end and into "guerrilla vengeance mode." ??

I learned on the show for the first time that SM has lost his business. I was so incredibly sorry to hear that. In such a relatively short time, lost two homes, his business, wife, and now Sky. It's amazing that he keeps so strong and meets each day like he does. Good for him -very strong!

As to the October sighting, if it were rock solid information, then I don't see SM investigating sightings all the way back to spring. (?)

I will say this again -if they haven't already done so -get those debit/credit records -shopping at PCC Market, Trader Joe's, etc...and interview all those clerks. Put up fliers of Julia there -and witha photo if they can find it of her and both kids (looking ordinary, not the glam, posed shot)...TJ crew people are very personable and would remember them...imo...we know she shopped for food there. The question is if kids were in tow.
