I don't think Joe took or harmed Haleigh. I am not so sure he even stole a gun in the first or second place. If he did and put it in Tommy's drive way, what would that accomplish? and when would he have had time to do that? They all have him so busy coming and going, throwing a body in the lake, finding rope... He is a gun lover probably, likes the gangsta personna. Did Misty set him up with a promise of the gun? Was it usually hidden behind the wall that LE took apart? Has he ever said he had a fight over stealing the gun?

The only comfort I can find in this mess is that LE knows more than we do, has thought of everything we have and more.

I'm not saying JO is not involved or is involved-but I think there is definetly potential there for him to at least be an accomplice to what happened to Haleigh and know more than he has at least publicly.

It accomplishes nothing, since we have both Ron and Misty stating that THEY found the gun in the "culbert" (as Misty would say). How can both people find the gun? How can Misty claim to be talking to Ron on the phone with him directing her where to find it, and Ron stating that he found it?

I still can't get this ditch, culvert, gun thing down....and because it is confusing, it is a lie, according to my processing. rc and misty play real hard with the truth. Hard enough when one is a known liar but when you have two, it makes it worse. Still there is something going on with gun, drugs, rc and JO.

In the beginning, I thought that LE located the gun in a ditch and I thought that rc hid it before the 911 so LE wouldn't take it...but that theory got all muddled up in this mess.

What still stands out to me is Misty asking Marvin to pray for her, she is tired of taking care of other peoples kids. TN admitting to offering her money to care for Haleigh and Jr that fateful night. GGMa Sykes showing up to "check on them" and delivering laundry. Ron making 20 or 90 phone calls that same night - long before Joe could have even had access to the van.

JMO - Joe did not take Haleigh, nor did Joe hurt Haleigh. Also IMO, Misty didn't like the competition that Haleigh presented, nor did she like or was she equipped to deal with a special needs child. Joe may well have delivered Lindsey's van to Tommy if Tommy or Misty called and said they needed it though.

I don't think Grandma Hollar realizes or doesn't want to admit to herself the extent of what kind of things her grandchildren have been exposed to and involved in (and neither do we yet)-I think she's in the process of that now because she has no other choice!! At this point-I'm not sure who did what. The only thing I'm sure of is that Haleigh was an innocent living in the midst of vipers!!:furious:

Is it just me or does it seem somewhat ironic that a life long resident in proximity to the river and alligators is relating this gruesome tale about a kid from Tennessee, where the only alligators are in zoos?

Must have watched a lot of TV in the hills or something.

Just to share this little video while reading the latest news about Haleigh this morning. Alligators are just a way of life in Florida. Locals are still enthused with them and I'm sure you are correct in how interested a Kid from Tennessee would be. Heck, when I get visitors in for a visit they immediately want to go to Gator Hole to photograph the gators up close and personal.

Back to Joe, I just rewatched NG and the interview with JO's attorney. He states that JO WAS at the MH on the 9th or 10th. This backs up Hardy who would not say the date but it was pretty clear it was Monday. Sirgi also declined to answer about JO's poly.

Now we have another fact. The gun and rc seems to be my biggest problem. Because I have no substantiation of rc NOT being at work, I have been working hard to keep him out of the crime. However; it doesn't stop my imagination from wandering about this gun thing. RC hid it and for a good reason.

Misty throws out that JO wanted the gun..WHAT??? He already stole the gun once..10 days prior (according to rc) That weekend of the 1st must be a very interesting weekend..to say the least. I now see why LE is going backwards. It is because rc told them JO stole his gun that weekend...true?? not true?? RC lies.

The gun story is just beyond credible. I can not see where Joe would steal a gun at the very beginning of a vacation with his family and get caught at stealing the gun and then just decide to hang around anyway for the rest of his vacation. Continue to enjoy his family, go fishing, visit Ron and get to see him showing off a prized rifle/machine gun (depending on the story of choice) and visiting Misty along with Tommy and Lindsy and the kids on Monday afternoon prior to GGMs coming over. Again, WOW, what a story we are suppose to swallow.:sick:

RC completely distances himself form JO...denying any fight or arguement with him.
He now has a reason to tell LE all about JO and what does he do, he denies everything concerning JO.
Nobody can convince any of us that rc took somebody stealing his gun w/o rc taking revenge and we know how bad that can be.

Either it wasn't a gun or it never happened. hmmm, I wonder if it was drugs that JO wanted not a gun. RC is hiding something huge.

SPECULATION: So if JO came to the house and wanted drugs and actually did take Haleigh, rc would cover because of the drugs.
He would never tell about JO because it implicates him and holds him responsible, even indirectly for Haleigh's death.
Yes, rc is all about his perception of how others view him...There is a story here...has to be.

Whisperer, Your theory is something to think about....I suspect there is a story behind the gun fight...what if the gun was stolen, used in a robbery or traded for drugs? If the truth be known it implicates R. also.

What was Joe and Tommy gonna do with the gun when they came to steal it from R. that night at the MH?...
take it back to Tenn or possibly trade it for drugs.

What kind of girlfriend was Misty to allow Jo & Tommy to look for the gun in the mobile home that night, while R. was working, with intentions of stealing it?
This entire story about the gun does not add up.

Then Misty stands there, doing nothing and allows Joe to take Haleigh because he got mad because he didn't find the gun? and then she doesn't call Ron, no way!
So was the fight actually over a gun or possibly drugs that Jo brought to Fla to sell or drugs he bought/traded from R. to take back to Tenn.?

Could the fight have happened the weekend prior to H. going missing and has NO baring on H. going missing at all... only an excuse to cover-up what happened to H. that night?
Did M. take R.'s gun out with them, all doped-up, that night in the van with the kids, T. and J. and some how H. was shot?

I suspect at least 6 people knew what happened to H. from that very day and has tried hard to cover-up the truth, accident or not...imo

No one in their right mind would cover for Joe for 14 months and put their families through hell, IF J. was this monster that raped H. and threw her in the river, dead or alive....no way!

Granny Hollar knew just what she was doing when she released that little tidbit. No doubt in my mind NG knew it ahead of time and couldn't get the lawyer to say it. More ammo to throw Joe under the bus.

How old is JO? Grandma said he "turned 18" while in Woodland Hills. We need to check his age - where was he 3 years ago? could he have been involved in this "riot" as well?

I don't for a minute believe that JO killed Haleigh - as for his involvement - that's a real good possibility. I'm real interested in finding out his age and then backtracking to see if he was in Woodland Hills during this "riot".

So, if he "turned 18" in Woodland Hills he couldn't have been out of there for long. Plus, the 3 years ago would make him 16-17 at that time - could he have been in there at that time?

No way in my opinion that the van story was made up. I believe Haleigh was in it and Chelsea wanted to get it as far away from her house as possible on that night hence the "Joe must have took it" I can't account for him story.
