Thank you! He botched the interrogation just like he’s somewhat botching this testimony. He doesn’t want to admit he was deceiving DB during the interrogation, which is common practice. It’s clear he was and he should just admit that. DB is doing a good job rattling him!
The only thing DB is good at is driving thru a parade of people and killing them. He, DB, should admit his guilt and stop this charade.

This is ridiculous and has nothing to do with his crimes.

(O/T Kristin Smart verdicts are reached and will be announced shortly)

I agree, he should just openly state that he was misleading Brooks in the hopes of extracting a confession. This guy is being very defensive with his answers. Brooks is making this guy look like a bad guy and it may be because he is one.

The anger and irritation at having to justify doing his job as an officer of the law investigating multiple homicides and assault is evident. He knows this person is guilty and yet he is being forced to participate in this clown show. He is more tolerant than I’d be.
What you are describing is unprofessional. Part if his job is explaining his conduct to a jury.

He just nailed him on his comments about “crazy women,” asking essentially why he needed to say that to build rapport and whether he thinks that about women. The detective should’ve said he was pretending to be sympathetic to DB to lower his guard and talk. That’s why the detective made that comment I believe. Again, common tactic. Not sure why he’s pretending otherwise.

I must not be watching the same thing. None of the off kilter Sovereign Citizen tactics used by this mass murder is making me think the Detective is a bad person.

I think the detective is doing better now.

I could not agree more. I am sure he has been involved in many serious crimes but having to sit there and answer this piece of scum's questions is probably the most difficult thing he has has to do. I am sure the jury sees this too.

Are you defending a killer? DB would not have been in that room if he had not killed innocent people. He could have ended that interrogation at any time. He did not. He lied to the detective about not being in the vehicle when video proves otherwise.

This detective assisted in taking a killer off the streets.

This trial is not about what was done TO the defendant. The evidence is overwhelming that DB is a murderer.

Brice Rhodes. Louisville KY. There are some YT videos (from reputable news outlets in the area).

DB is living his dream. All his life he’s been on the other side of the police interrogation. Table is turned for a hot minute, and he’s salivating at the chance. He knows he’s going to be just a prison number in a few days. He’s chucking it up one last time.

I would find it very offensive to be questioned by the defendant. As a victim, professional, or witness. There is something wrong with our justice system that allows a perpetrator to almost "re offend" the victims. He is deliberately trying to goad the witnesses into reacting negatively. Probably trying to get a mistrial or something. The whole thing is a disgrace. JMO.

Yeah DB’s cross has lost all steam. Now he’s just meandering. He clearly doesn’t prepare for this in advance. What a waste of time!

he is purposely going slow and asking same questions over and over to avoid the scheduled SUV viewing tomorrow. He knows it is almost his case and if the witness this morning is any indication it will be awful
