Right, and her bedroom door was the first on the right. But how would that not be the main floor? Its the same level of the front door isn't it?We know that the patio door is where the deck is

If that wasn't from a week ago then I am not aware of it. I know they did one not too long ago, have they done another one since? Anything interesting or new that they mentioned during the interview?everything is still the same as a week ago. family done a interview is all that I know of that is new and fact.
We know that the patio door is where the deck is

Bottom of page 2, top of page 3 kind of gives a picture of where Jayme's room is from Kyle Jaenke entering through the patio door on east side of home.
Based on the evidence they have, they verified that she was there. They just won't say what that evidence is. ImoI think a lot of that is plausible... would need to see floor plan... confirm jaymes room. I still don’t know why sherif f says we believe jayme was home at time if the murders ...why not just say she was there at time of murders ?? Was she heard on 911 tape...??
Had to be 2 voices yelling... either jayme left bloody palm print / bloody shoe print/ or on 911 call .. why the hesitation to commit to she was there ?? Can’t see reason to say we believe and leave room...???
I thought they were in the same room. I remember LE said the phone was closer to her body than to his. ImoAt 1:08 they began clearing the house. At 1:11 they advised Denise was also down. That's about 3 minutes between clearing the house and finding her. Maybe there was just a delay, but I doubt it. The other timestamps run 1:04, 1:05, 1:06, 1:07, and then 1:08. Then nothing until 1:11. That tells me they were looking around for a bit before finding Denise.
Quote "The defendant stated that when he arrived at the residence he walked around the outside of the property, checked the door, and noticed that the patio door on the east side of the residence was unlocked. The defendant walked in and immediately located a room off to the right that he believed belonged to Jayme Closs. The defendant stated that, while he was in Jaymes room he located a closet full of clothes " .......
Thank you for this.
I deleted my initial response to you because I found an image off of the east side of the house (included here) that shows the deck. So this all means that Jaymes room WAS on the main floor at the back north corner of the house.
It's a weird placement for a deck but I also understand why they did it. There was limited other option off the back of the house without considerable expense because of the elevation.
It still really changes some of my thoughts. It means there is an exit literally right out side of what was Jayme's bedroom.
She was not in the lower level. I would assume she had been in her own bedroom. Is there any evidence to suggest she would not be in her room?Excellent points... do you have photo of back of house u can upload ?? I couldn’t find much info on house other than increase value ... nice surrounding homes...
Lower level could be laundry & water heater room... or finished basement... if that’s where jayme was. Gotta rethink some things....
I don't have a link but I'm sure someone can find it. It was very early on and has been discussed quite a bit so it's here somewhere. He did not say he heard her voice, that was just speculation. He said based on the 911 call and other evidence from the scene, they believe she was there at the time of the murder. That's what started the conversation about what they may have heard on the 911 call that led them to believe this.Do you have a quote or link that indicates the sheriff believed she was in the home based on hearing Jayme on the 911 call? Because I've seen /heard nothing like that. He's been incredibly tight lipped about what was heard on the 911 call and I haven't heard any indication AT ALL of WHO was heard.
He also clearly states in the radio interview that a reason for the delay in the amber alert was determining that Jayme wasn't elsewhere (friends / families house) and yes that they had no car description.
If she WAS heard on the 911 call there would be no reason to have to eliminate the possibility that she was elsewhere.
If the chair was hit by a bullet (as I believe) that means there were at least 3 shots fired, correct?
If the neighbors heard two quick shots, were the others shots not heard because they were inside, or possibly a different gun was used? Thoughts?

They have never indicated that there was a possibility that she was anywhere else but inside the home.
We don't know if they heard her voice, but it's more than likely the reason they confirmed that she was present. All we know is they have evidence from the call that she was there.

It was after they had spent several days using whatever technology the FBI experts used but at the second PC they did say they would continue to analyze it. The last reference to it after that was when Fitzgerald said there is nothing on that tape that tells them anything ( other than what they had already determined) and that it sounded like the noise was way down the hall or a long way from the phone. That tells me they have not found anything more that is of use. I don't know what else they can do to perfect the sound quality. ImoWe need to remember too that initially only the dispatcher heard the 911 call. We don't know when it was made available to investigators or when they had a chance to listen to it.
Think this is the quote...
"We believe Jayme was home based on the evidence in our case -- some of it from that 911 call, and some of it is still part of the active investigation and we're not able to comment on why we believe that," he said at Wednesday's news conference.
Thank you! I'm so bad at finding things and could not recall the exact quote. So he definitely mentioned the 911 call, and I guess he didn't clarify that it was evidence found at the actual scene. Just part of the investigation. That's pretty vague. Seems to be the norm. ImoThink this is the quote...

They did not have the evidence from the 911 call until several days later. It took a few days to analyze. They apparently used the best technology within the FBI.Thank you.
It doesn't add up with what he said in the Dryden Wire interview on (11/9) though. Why wait on the Amber Alert to make sure she's not at a friends or family if she was heard in the 911 call. Obviously if she was heard, she wasn't elsewhere!!!
It's confusing.
They never said she was heard on the 911 call, just that the evidence from the call helped them to determine she was there. It may have been someone calling her name, or her screaming, or something that indicates she was there. What makes the most sense is that they identified her voice or the sound of her voice. What else could it be?Sheriff Fitzgerald very clearly states that they had to rule out she was elsewhere (family or friends) in the radio interview with DrydenWire (I tried linking it but it's embedding) . So they have indicated that very early they didn't know where she was. If she was heard on the 911 all they wouldn't have had to do that.
