It does beg the question of how exactly do crimes get solved anyways? Any more, it seems that perp has to make a full confession (and then later not retract it) in order for LE to have enough "evidence" to make an accusation stick.

Why do criminals have so many rights? I can name ten cases off the top of my head where I am positive that LE knows who the perp is, but haven't brought any charges.

When did the court system become so resistant (for lack of a better word) to convict?

When we started using DNA evidence to clear so many wrongly accused. I really think historically speaking, that will mark a very clear shift in the criminal justice system, and we are currently in a ridge between two worlds of establishing guilt. ebb and flow. I know it was a rhetorical question, but it's a fascinating one.

Bumping for precious Aliayah

We're angry that those who who were supposed to care for you and take care of you are too selfish to either tell where you are or help us find you. They've not only wronged you but all your brothers and sisters too.

We're just so sad that number 1 for some people is always themselves :(

(How selfish to always put your own personal wants and needs in front of those of a small innocent child). :curses:

Someone knows where you are Aliayah, what a heavy secret that must be to keep. Some day that secret will be told, hopefully sooner than later. We all have our suspects just because everything we know about your disappearance doesn't add up. We may be wrong, we may be right, but someone knows.

:praying:We're still praying every day that someone will help us bring you home.

Can NOT believe that tomorrow will be FOUR MONTHS since Aliayah was reported missing and still she has not been found. I alternate between sorrow and wrath over this atrocity.:maddening::sigh: and still continue to pray that she will be found soon, and that those responsible for her disappearance will be dealt with swiftly.I'm sure I will never forget the images of that sweet little face. God bless!

There was an event yesterday at the Weston Moose Lodge and they raised money for signs. Nice big signs for the highway.

I found pics on fb and added to the archive.

How very sad to think that a precious little girl like Aliayah Lunsford "vanishes" and her so-called mother and father do NOTHING to help find her. It has been FOUR MONTHS!! I'm sorry Aliayah that your "Mom", your "Dad", your "Grandma" haven't got off their butts to help find you. I just hope that wherever you are that you are warm, loved and never EVER have to be surrounded by those that refused to search for you.

As for the "adults" that have refused to help find her. You should all spend the rest of your lives in prison. But I am more than convinced that your time is coming....you just "think" you got away with this. It is FAR from over.

Aliayah-you are always in my thoughts...

I feel folks are either afraid of the Lunsfords or protecting them for some reason. My feeling is it involves drugs , that plus the fact that Vadis is an isolated area that the Law rarely visits and is said by many to be ruled by the Lunsfords and has been since moon shining days. It is said a person could disapear in Vadis and never be found or missed for years if ever. I do know that if you want to cause a rucus on face book , just mention the Lunsfords and all hell breaks loose. I really think the bottom line is supply and demand.

I believe I have screamed very loud about Ralph's family. But the truth is-Lena was the last one to see Aliayah alive. Or so the "story" goes. And that is ALL it is, we all know it is not the truth. As far as JoAnn goes, I feel that she knows exactly what happened and isn't telling. That makes her just as guilty as those that harmed her.

Vickie -congrats on the babies!! Spoil them LOTS and LOTS!!

Every day I pray for Aliayah and so many others who are missing or have been abused and for justice for those who have been murdered.

Many times I get very discouraged then I remember a prayer I prayed for a long time. It went like this, God please give me another sister or brother to love. My baby brother had died then my baby sister died. I kept praying it every night. I didn't stop because I saw my mother's tears and I missed them too. Five months after I graduated from high school my little sister was born.

I have to keep telling myself that God does answer prayers but in his own time. A month after my sister was born my father left and my sister was the only thing that kept my mother going..............

So we have to all keep praying no matter how long it takes. Never give up!

We love you Aliayah!

I took it more as being a request to 'tone it down' when it comes to individuals and groups thinking they're detectives. Accusations are flying, people are saying they know this or that or heard such-and-such, and it's getting to the point that something's going to be said or done that could hurt the real investigation. At least that's how I read it.

And I agree. As I've said before, many of the reactions I see and read are hurting more than they're helping. Emotions seem to have taken over common sense. And if LE has some Persons Of Interest and others they think have real info that could help find Aliayah, the last thing they need are amateurs making it more difficult for them. I'm not saying that all sleuthing in a case like this is wrong, just that some common sense has to be used.

The part about them not being able to release much info might be in response to 'the letter', but that's the kind of thing that LE often says about such cases. I don't think that those who are demanding answers now and want all the details will be content with that. But that's probably all they're going to get.
