WV WV - Aliayah Lunsford, 3, Lewis Co., 24 Sep 2011 - #12

I wish I could say that Lena and Ralph Lunsford's time on the outside is limited and that they will be serving time soon-- but I can't. I think of this Aliayah every. single. day.

When she went missing she was the age of my youngest son. My son has so much joy in life- so much pride when he sounds out the letters and "reads" a word. So many giggles when he is making a joke. So many snuggles when we have quiet time.

I am brought to tears when I think of all the things Aliayah (for that matter, her siblings) missed out on. I pray that they are being loved and cared for in their foster homes.

Aliayah Lunsford's Still Missing After 18 Months
18 months ago Sunday, a three year old girl went missing from her Lewis County home. The disappearance of Aliayah Lunsford is tragic and still unknown.

911 Center: 911, what's your emergency?
Lena Lunsford: My baby's missing.
This was the call made by Lena Lunsford the morning of September 24th, 2011. She told police Aliayah was in her bed at 6:30 and was gone when she checked on her just a few hours later.
"I want her home with us where she belongs because we all love and miss her so much," said Aliayah's Aunt.

"My personal feeling is that from day one we haven't been given the proper information and until that proper information comes out and is made public or is least brought to our desk then this is going to continue on," said Sheriff Mike Gissy, Lewis County Sheriff's Department.

Its probably just my frustration with this case talking, but the above really rubbed me the wrong way.

Somebody else better solve this puppy and tie it up with a bow and put across this guy's desk???

Again, this is probably my frustration that is talking but man, it really does stick in my craw.

We here at WS have been so frustrated with Ralph and Lena's lack of cooperation. I can only imagine how investigator's feel.

Since Lena has lost permanent custody of the other children, I hope that she does not get pregnant again. She and jerice hunter should never again be allowed that privilege, ever!!!

Probation orders Lena Lunsford from Wheeling to Clarksburg area

The lawyer for the mother of missing Lewis County toddler Aliayah Lunsford says a U.S. probation office plan to require his client to move from Wheeling to the Clarksburg area is unsound.

Federal Defender Brian Kornbrath filed the motion late Thursday in the case of Lena Lunsford. She’s on federal supervised release after serving prison time for federal food stamp fraud.

The motion notes that Kornbrath specifically asked that his client come from her prison term to Wheeling because of “extreme notoriety ... generated in the Clarksburg area” due to the investigation into the whereabouts of the still missing 3-year-old Aliayah Lunsford.

However, the defendant was told April 22 by the YWCA that she wasn’t a viable candidate for the substance abuse program “because she recently became pregnant and because her substance abuse history was in remission.”

She's pregnant again?

It really is heartbreaking to see that this woman is pregnant again. WHO is the Father, not Ralph?

Jerice Hunter (Jhessye's Shockley's egg donor) suffers from this same disease. Killed a child, had the living children permanently removed, then became pregnant again and had that child removed by the state. Unlike Lena though, jerice was charged and is awaiting trial, thank goodness.

Lena needs to be spayed.

Lunsford is unable to pay the $720 she owes in back rent for staying at the YWCA and will be forced to leave soon, according to the filing

Is she going to be able to support the latest baby? She's worked 25 to 30 hours a week and lived for free and she's broke.
