Eight or nine years ago – MAC said Michael had to have back surgery because he lifted a light pole in their backyard to move it and that’s how he messed up his back.
In 2018 – MAC said his dad was more forgetful – forget about plans, left stuff at the house, etc.MAC had Michael was also more “aggressive” towards everyone

Anyone questioning how someone can hit their head so hard on a kitchen counter that they cause a dent? Surely there would be a noticeable head wound of some kind, wouldn't there?
I also recall someone saying that Natalie originally said that Mike slowly slid to the floor while holding onto the counter.

No more defense witnesses available today
Judge is informing the jury about scheduling difficulties with the defense’s expert witnesses - apparently they will not be available until Monday
Judge says because of this he is going to give the jury the day off on Friday...
...– but to prepare for a full day on Monday.
Judge said the case is “winding down” said he thinks they will be finished on Tuesday or Wednesday

I found it troubling the second medical examiner who gave the opinion that Michael's manner of death was homicide (at the hands of another) and caused was exogenous insulin administration, when he was totally unaware that insulin can be abused by individuals involved in strength training (and bodybuilding but MC wasn't, an actual bodybuilder). If he hasn't the knowledge to know insulin can be used by this particular cohort how can he rule out accidental death by self administration of insulin?
As a medical prescriber it's a well known fact insulin is used alongside anabolic steroids... It's not new and it is quite common. I understand after NC was charged with murder the first time, this was dismissed without prejudice awaiting the second exhumation and autopsy, where the M.E was planning to test subcutaneous tissue to test for insulin. Obviously the decomposition was too advanced but personally I would have fought the testimony of the second M.E HARD if I were the defence...
Even the endocrinologist gave a far less certain, she was NOT sure 'to a degree of medical certainty'. The M.E based nothing on the autopsy he carried out it was all based on paper records. The same information the endocrinologist had and I think she was correct to leave some room for other scenarios.
I am not suggesting I am leaning towards NC being innocent OR guilty. I'm waiting for all the testimony. However I do feel there's a lot of questions still to be answered...
I'm also really interested if anyone can find anything online regarding witness intimidation in the Charleston Gazette after TT's testimony. I gathered the state were throwing shade on TT and insinuating he as a graphic designer was potentially aware of the Ponzi scheme or produced the letterhead designs... But I'm really interested in where the witness intimidation articles are, if anywhere!
I do feel sad for the children of the deceased. Dad dead at 38, and Mother in federal prison a year afterwards and now facing a life sentence for their Dad's alleged murder...I was orphaned within a 12 months period in my 20s and the loss is immense.

I had done a quick search for any articles about witness intimidation as well and didn't find one.
Regarding losing both parents, even if NC is found not guilty in this case she received an 11 year sentence for the ponzi fraud. How long has she been in prison so far?

Continuing the theme of technical difficulties - they’re currently trying to connect with Dr. Ljubisa Jovan Dragovich, the chief medical examiner/chief forensic pathologist for Oakland County, Mich. We can see and hear him but he can’t hear us.
The system they’ve working out for virtual witnesses is that they appear via video call but they mute the audio for the video call and then call the witness on the phone and use the phone for audio. I’m no technical wiz but that seems unnecessarily complicated.

Dragovich said he’s been in this line of work for nearly 40 years and performed thousands of autopsies. He said he also performed 6 autopsies this past weekend.
