Interesting article where a retired officer gives his opinion on Spierer's case.
Snipped from part of the article:
Retired police captain and crime author Robert Snow, is not involved in the Spierer case, but his 30 years in law enforcement, including several years as homicide commander...
Maybe I'm forgetting something.. I know that LE searched Smallwood. But did they already search the guys houses/apartments a first time, prior to searching with the dogs just the other day? The search with dogs going through the homes, just happened yesterday or the day before I thought.
It's sad, but I kinda agree with you on that.. I do think that they are trying to do everything to the best of their ability though. The last similar case Bloomington dealt with was about 10 years ago.
If a body was put inside something else before going into a vehicle, then there is a good chance that no trace evidence of a body would be anywhere in that vehicle. Assuming it all happened the morning of June 3.
I agree, it would be crazy not to search the cars early on.. but we are learning...
I would like to respectfully disagree with everything you've said.
Unless you believe JR's statements, then the current information does in fact make this a very plausible and realistic theory.
OD or not, life threatening "episodes" do not all end the same and create a big scene that...
It's really hard to make that judgement. So I should probably not speculate too much.
But if I didn't have my cell phone, I wouldn't be making any calls because I have no numbers memorized. Walking home or not, I think would depend mostly on how comfortable she felt with the people around...
Hypothetically speaking, if Agent003 experienced mixing cocaine and alcohol in the past. The latter two possibilities you listed would best describe the zombie like state you'd be in at 4:30am (assuming the "party" started b/w 10-12ish). Any additional cocaine consumed around 4:30am would...
Cocaine, combined with alcohol actually produces a very toxic and harmful chemical in the liver called cocaethylene. Most people report that when they consume both, they end up drinking in excess because the stimulating effects of cocaine makes them feel less "drunk". If that makes sense to...
I think you're on the right track.. this is the scenario I've been leaning towards. I also wonder if any people she was with play sports.. that would be a big motive to try and hide evidence of what occurred that night
you're right. I just meant in the area where the guys live. All the statements from about 3:00AM onward are so hard for me to believe. Especially the one about her leaving @ 4:15-4:30am.
The POI's from after 3AM such as CR, JR, MB etc. Do any of them have an attached garage on their apartments/townhome or whatever.. that's what it looked like in some pictures but I'm not sure I was looking at the right place.
Thanks
Yes, it's still sketchy.. most definitely. For the record, I don't believe any of the statements made after about 2:45AM. And from what I can tell, LE doesn't believe them either.. It's also just kinda coincidental that there are no cameras anywhere around in the last hours of the...
JR's statement about seeing her round the corner has been strange to me from the beginning. It sounds like something a person would quickly think of mntioning if they were trying to get out of a situation..
The idea being that if you say you saw her round the corner, she's not your...
edit: I think you were kinda saying the same thing..
Also would like to add. If she was doing drugs, she didn't necessarily have to OD in order to have something go wrong.. She could have had heart failure which was triggered by the drugs but it doesn't necessarily mean she OD'd or overused...
If I was a POI, I wouldn't be searching either.. they wouldn't allow you to anyways.
What I would be doing, is telling LE everything that I know.. and that's what I believe some of the guys involved are not doing.
It also appears to me that LE has almost ruled out a stranger abduction...
I strongly agree with this.
You would think being a POI should be enough to have a SW granted. If the person is innocent then why would they care..
It's a missing person case, which is very serious. I would be doing anything to help. I wouldn't leave town to go home (even if it's...
I'm about 99% positive this was not a stranger abduction..
All the stories being told from the "friends" after about 2:45am are lacking details and not adding up. They know what happened, even if not directly involved.
I just have to think that it's hard for him to be around LS's parents. Even being completely innocent, the fact he's listed as a POI would send awkward vibes towards the parents and other volunteers.
It's hard to know exactly what I'd do in his position. But him going home is insignificant...
