As far as I can tell, this is purely speculation from posters here. I haven't seen one mention of cell tower pings in the news reports. I'd be happy to be corrected on that, with a link to the source though. While I'm here, same for the coat+backpack being *found* in the classroom. Since...

Thank you. This is happening in my real, as well as virtual, backyard. It's getting very frustrating and crazymaking right now; a lot of my friends have 7 y/olds.

So is everyone clear? The school in St Helens is not the same school district as Skyline. The school on Sauvie Island is an elementary only, and not near the search. The facility shown in the Sky8 water search video from today is not a school, and it is not on the island. It is across Hwy 30...

y/w Emma.. I wonder if half my posts get seen. :) I don't want to post the link to the facility.. it's labeled on all the google maps, including puf's (linked in my sig).. I know exactly where that Sky8 video was shot.. I'm trying to figure out who lives in the floating home at the end of that...

That is exactly the portion I noticed as well, CC. BUT, I think that isn't the school, it's the Native American Rehabilitation facility at the intersection of Cornelius Pass & Hwy 30. If you look on puf's map, you'll see there is a dirt road almost directly opposite that building, and you can...

OT alert (mine): I have my own experience to relate. On Friday, I needed to drop something off to the asst. principal at our local elementary. I do not have children at that school. I arrived at about 2:45 and left my husband in the car. There were people milling around *everywhere*. I...

puf, have you figured out where that search shot was taken yet? Not up by the bridge, but directly across from CP Road (you can see the intersection toward the end). Several people have focused on the Columbia River being huge and fast, that is true. But, the part of the water they are...

And only one bathroom.. no way! :D LE has commented (er, Shulz, when giving the family answers to the emailed media questions) that this is the first time any of these local agencies have had to deal with the fall out of social media and mass quantities of internet postings (oregonlive.com...

LE never said anything about taking scans from the Black Hawks; the only thing confirmed is that they were carrying SAR personnel, yes?

Isn't that photo lovely? That's the quarry I posted about (Knife River) yesterday; I made a map showing the routes they want video from . If you could look up and over that hill, the school is in a direct line with this photo. The RR tracks run along Hwy 30, between it and the river. There is...

What if Kyron didn't go missing at 9am? What if it was noon... 1... ? We have no idea what time he was marked absent {} We have a statement that got released before they clamped down, at 8:45 with SM dropping him off. Nothing has really been confirmed since then; you can't put full faith in...

I don't think it's anything that organized.. I think it's just all the major roads in the immediate area and they are fishing for whatever. If you google earth, or street view, you'll find that all that is up there is farm land, or farm land that's been converted to huge housing developments...

Agree, and I have wondered why they are staying SO close to the school. It's a relatively isolated area for a crime of opportunity.. there are a dozen schools someone would pick for 'better' opportunities. This is just a little, 300 students (!) K-8.. nothing like our school here close in...

OK, here is my map; I outlined the roads in blue. It's pretty much every road leading off both sides of their hill. It's also all the escape routes out to the highways. Map Originally Posted by darlin gal View Post The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office is requesting recorded video...
