I am still fairly new here and I don't know how to copy a quote from one Thread to the next. So I have copied and posted this. This is from Thread 1, page 96, post 1437. It is made by Batman's Mommy. She is a paralegal and makes some interesting observations. As you can see, she refers to...
If I were to go to Hunt County tomorrow and request a death certificate, I cannot believe I would be fined, arrested, or whatever. Once they determined I wasn't family, I would suspect they would explain the law to me and tell me "No". Not everyone knows this law. Just my opinion.
This is from the Tx Dept. Of State Health Services

Our VI, who is the granddaughter, wanted to know if she could get a copy of the death certificate. According to this, she cannot.
Who can request a certified copy of a birth or death...
There are many more articles on-line regarding this. Unfortunately, I have used my allotted number of free articles from the Dallas News. It sounds like it is a big mess. I do not fully understand all of this. Apparently bad investments were made.
Just found this article dated March 9, the day before MC went missing.
https://www.dallasnews.com/news/dallas-city-hall/2017/03/09/dallas-police-fire-pension-system-pay-drop-withdrawals
It is from the Dallas Morning News. The headline reads: "The Dallas Fire and Pension System won't pay...
Here is a portion of the quote you brought forward from Pmerle00:
DFD pension board sent out a letter to members just prior to Papaw's disappearance requesting a confirmation that the payments should maintain as they had been - OR if they didn't respond, then it would go to semi-annual payments...
I am posting Midge Montana's quote mainly because I agree with every word. This may be inappropriate, but I am begging Mr. Chamber's daughters to drive to Austin and speak to the Texas Rangers. Almost 5 months have gone by. I haven't heard a word about another search. Action needs to be...
Thank you Pmerle00 for telling us more about PaPaw. That put a smile on my face and tears in my eyes. Thank you so much for answering all of our questions.
Can I say the name of the boyfriend? He is not the father of Carey's kids. His name is mentioned in either the Websleuths or Facebook page for her. If it is ok to post, I will.
I am actually from Dallas, but live in a small town/different state now. I think at the time I was thinking about your Dad working in Quinlan or responding to someone making a statement about PTSD in first responders.
This is unsettling to read. Although she went missing in 1991, the Websleuths page was not created until 2013. At the time of her disappearance, she had 3 small children. Carey's father reported her missing to the police In 1991. He thought they would create a missing person case, but found...
Even if, heaven forbid, someone shot him...how the heck did they move him? He is a big, strong man. If that were the case, I would think that there would be blood everywhere. I do think the shop and all cars should have been checked. I think it should have been treated as a crime scene and...
Pmerle00: I am so sorry for the loss of your mother-in-law. Prayers to you and your family.
Thank you for answering my post. That clears up a lot of questions.
I think I speak for everyone when I say I am glad you are back!
I am also afraid that Pmerle00 won't be back. I know this has to be emotional; you want answers, but it has to be hard to read the possible scenarios. I have noticed that today and this evening has been quiet regarding posts. I don't know if members are frustrated, out of ideas, or if maybe...
I wondered about ammunition also. My husband said you have to pay for it at that counter and it is bagged at that point. Hence, you wouldn't just be able to carry the box to the checkout.
If you listen to the 3rd video, you will hear his wife state in the 911 call that it was locked and his keys were inside. I believe the VI has also stated this. It was also stated in Thread 1 that the door had two locks. Hence, you could lock one lock from the inside and then close the door...
If the shop was locked and dark when BC walked in, looking for MC, how did she avoid stepping in the blood? It was stated that the blood was three feet from the door. As big as the shop is, I would think the field of vision would be looking around the room for him, not looking down. Just my...
