This quote ..."state regulators repeatedly failed to properly oversee a poorly maintained vehicle with corroded brakes that hurtled down a road at more than 100 mph and slammed into an embankment." makes me wonder if this will open the door to sue New York State?

Hello,
In the report https://www.ntsb.gov/investigations/AccidentReports/Reports/HSR1902.pdf on page three there is a second picture of the front passenger side as well as post-crash 3D renderings on page seven.
The photos of the front and other side of the crash are, I don't have the right words. Up until the report, I've only seen the passenger side rear side/end, which did not look damaged and appeared to lead to theories that other forces were at play with so many horrible deaths.
The images and...

There is a comment to the editorial re: criminal case being more important.
I realize this is from an editorial, however the articles in the NYT and WashPo did not have comments open, and I find that a little odd.
Can anyone speak to the fact that the limo is stored outside, under a tent? Given the weather in the Northeast is it going to have an impact on the NTSB reviewing the limo as it was on the day of the crash? I don't understand why it's not kept indoors as the rain, damp, humidity, etc., seems...
