    GUILTY NC - Laura Ackerson, 27, Kinston, 13 July 2011 #1

    Found an interesting comment on GH's FB page -- although not talking about crime in general (he was talking about TV shows of today) "lol!!! but how many CSI/ homicide detectives do u run across in there?"

    GUILTY NC - Laura Ackerson, 27, Kinston, 13 July 2011 #1

    WRAL is now reporting in "breaking news" just as JohnFear said. However, it is not yet updated in the story.

    GUILTY NC - Laura Ackerson, 27, Kinston, 13 July 2011 #1

    Haven't found that info yet, but it is not surprising. I feared that would happen. If true, those 3 babies have lost mother/father/mother-figure (since they lived with new wife). Somebody worth a damn needs to come to the rescue of those 3 kids. Surely someone loved all 3.

    GUILTY NC - Laura Ackerson, 27, Kinston, 13 July 2011 #1

    With so many conflicting and confusing reports, it is getting so easy to point fingers at the ex-spousal equivalent because our experience shows the hubby almost always "did" it. I think this case has many more twists and turns to make before the truth is shown. It all just feels half-baked.

    GUILTY NC - Laura Ackerson, 27, Kinston, 13 July 2011 #1

    Glad that I'm not alone. Something is "different" about this case. I don't know what is happening but it all feels so strange. We have basically a lack of reporting from the media, whereas normally one of the local stations would be reporting constantly.

    GUILTY NC - Laura Ackerson, 27, Kinston, 13 July 2011 #1

    Does anybody else from the Raleigh area find it a bit strange that we are not hearing more about the disappearance of LA? Normally, stories like this are plastered on the news with pleas to the public to be on the "look out". Someone else mentioned that the LE did not need volunteers to search...

    GUILTY CA - Rebekah Butterfield, 21, found in dad's freezer, San Clemente, 25 Dec 2006

    I just looked this case up after watching Lockup on MSNBC. Butterfield was one of the inmates featured. Creepy.

    2011.05.05 Verdict Watch (day 2)

    Back to the 2 hour lunch. Remember yesterday, the judge was on a personal phone call and did not realize the microphone was on. IIRC, he was stating that he had an obligation at Wyatt's (?) preschool at some point today. That could be the REAL reason. No idea, but don't really think it...

    State v Bradley Cooper 4-27-2011

    ~~~ Condensed version, but IIRC, she is on the witness list for the defense too. That is why she has not been in court with NC's family.
    April 22 weekend of Sleuthiness
    In addition, IMO a truly abused woman would not taunt her abuser in public because she would fear the consequences once they return home to the privacy of their own home. There certainly were issues in this marriage, but BC was not an physical abuser. However, I do see signs that NC was...
    ~~~ I agree that many posters type opinions as proven facts. I also believe that your words fit that description to a "t". IMO and with all due respect.

    State v Bradley Cooper 4-13-11

    Det. Chappell: At 1:15pm on July 11, Brad accessed photos of Fielding Drive (where Nancy's body found) from his Cisco laptop. #coopertrial Now, that's a bit of evidence I have been needing to see!!! I think my fence may have just broken in two!

    April 8th wknd of Sleuthing

    I don't know. I just don't know. I am still on the fence because I have not seen any concrete proof. However, I totally "get it" on the CE that has been shown. Yes, it does add up, but does it actually add up to BC committing murder? Again, I don't know. I can see both sides of the coin...

    Somewhat OT. Somebody mentioned in yesterday's thread that Brad's parents did not even attend their wedding. Hmmm. That speaks volumes to me, especially when he could not recall his nephew's name. Do we know specifics about his close family members and the apparent distance?

    ??? Did I miss something, or does that really matter?

    State v Brad Cooper 4-8-2011

    I totally agree. I have had this odd feeling that even when this trial is over and the verdict is delivered --- we will NOT have heard the last of this case. I don't know "who" "what" "when" or "where" --- but there is SOMETHING MORE to this story.

    State v Brad Cooper 4-8-2011

    That is the $1,000,000 dollar question. I do not have any concrete thoughts. I do not have true any clues or ideas. I mentioned once before, for personal reasons, I really WANT Brad to be PROVEN guilty. Therefore, I started my interest in the case, based upon the assumption he was guilty...

    State v Brad Cooper 4-8-2011

    I agree NCEast. I'm not sure I like him as a person. But I really cannot see the evidence that he murdered NC either. It seems so much of the Lochmere Housewives tesimony is slowing being explained away and I feel that Brad was in the right (financially speaking). NC was out of control...

    State v Brad Cooper 4-8-2011

    That must be the problem. I'm on the Cooper trial, which one are you watching? Seriously though, anybody can take any mannerisms and "mold" and shape the behavior to one's on POV.
