    New Search 9/12/2011

The area around Delta was my hunch back in Dec 2009. So I am not surprised that they are searching just North of that area. I am hopeful the dogs are lucky enough to stumble on the correct location.

    New Search 9/12/2011

Searching in the Topaz Mountain area makes a lot of sense to me based upon all of the facts/discussions brought up on this site. I spent a day there in my youth and it makes sense that he could make it to that area in the Winter/weather conditions that were present. My guess is that he visited...

Josh Powell Detained While Investigators Search Home

Hopefully LE is able to track roughly where SP was during the night and the day after Susan went missing. Having lived in Utah and now Washington and having travelled various routes in winter conditions, I can't see Josh travelling on any other road than I-15 and or I-84 in the type of snow...

    UT -Susan Powell, 28, West Valley City, 6 Dec 2009 - #4

I don't see how Josh would be able to utilize an old mine shaft to hide a body. Having been an old explorer of such mine shafts in Utah, I can't see how Josh would be able to find one that was not buried in snow since almost all of them are at altitudes above 5000 feet. My relatives ran mines at...

    UT -Susan Powell, 28, West Valley City, 6 Dec 2009 - #4

I believe Josh did not go into any high country. High country is anything East of I-15. I lived in SLC for 24 years and know the terrain and the drivability factor in the Winter. He would have been concerned about getting stuck on mud or ice and snow in his van. I hope they are asking...
