AMBER ALERT WI - Jayme Closs, 13, Barron, missing after parents found shot to death, 15 Oct 2018 *endangered* #4

Uneven terrain makes me think they are searching the river area, not the cornfield.

I'm wondering if it is a distraction? Maybe they are raiding another location at the same time?

Ok upon looking at more closely. The southeast corner appears to have a cornfield. It is plowed over in the photo and on the maps. But with that said, Wisconsin has been getting insane amounts of rain and the farmers are very behind on the fall harvest and prep for spring. Anyone local know if...

So they have reason to believe she is out in the fields somewhere? This isn't good news.

Also the neighbors were awake, not sleeping. So if they only heard 2 shots then how did the door get shot open if there are 2 dead due to gunshot wounds? Someone elsewhere mentioned a silencer but then why not use that for the whole thing? These homes aren't soundproof enough to muffle the...

It was questioned in the PC but the Sheriff wouldn't answer the question due to the ongoing investigation.

Has this ever been confirmed? I haven't seen anything about the door being shot other than speculation.

I wouldn't even go that route. That is a family owned business with 3 teenage/20 something daughters who help paint. If it was one of the traveling companies that come around after hail storms then I would question it. But not these people.

Not really. The dance lessons are $39 a month per style per Christine's website. Plus we do not know if her grandparents helped fund her activities. And given that some of the family is from Cornell or living there currently the company could have given them a break on the painting if they are...

Median income is $42k in Barron and the average home costs $88k. Jennie-O is probably the #1 employer in the area with the highest wages. http://www.city-data.com/city/Barron-Wisconsin.html

Especially older homes with basements, even more so if they are unfinished and used for storage purposes.

This is correct. I find those areas absolutely terrifying at night. You can hear everything because it always so quiet. I'm guessing the only noise pollution they ever got in the evening was from the trains coming through.
