I do not believe they would risk being seen towing the car. They would have had to do a car shuffle and back in the tow truck. Someone in the neighborhood would have definitely noticed a tow truck. (Okay..I am dumb. I thought we were talking about JW taking the car. Duh..)

I ask because if the killer(s) took the time to locate SS, AS, and VF phones, why not PS. As far as I know, no one reported any calls or texts to VF's phone. Her husband did place a call to the phone. Just odd they didn't take his phone.
