The prosecution theory is that Alex didn’t have his phone with him at the kennels - and that was intentional so as to support his alibi that he was napping.
I agree with you - the defense is doing a great job, and there are some challenges for the prosecution. But in the end I think that Snapchat video sinks him. And I am more pro-defense than most people here.

I agree with your sequence. I think he entered house and began attack on G and M on 3rd floor wile K was still active on TikTok. Then killed Chaplin in his sleep starting at around 4:12, then stabbed K and thud. I can’t work it out any other way.
I think the affidavit says the food was delivered at 4:00. If he last entered neighborhood at 4:04, he must have just missed Kernodle and maybe started the attacks around the time that Kernodle was on TikTok or shortly after. It’s so chilling.
Ok here goes. First impressions from the arrest affidavit:
1. Killings only took place in two bedrooms: 3rd floor bedroom, two roommates were in the same bed; 2nd floor bedroom had roommate and boyfriend. Maybe only planned to kill 2 people?

It really depends on the judge and jurisdiction. But if he’s not a lawyer he can’t act as co-counsel in any event. Major decisions are up to him though.
