No.
I have family that lives near this area. There's really no plausible reason why she would have been walking around there, given the context. Even if she knew someone in that area and had some reason to see them, she would have driven her car, not walked. It's generally cold and wet this...

How does this fit with the timeline we know?
She may have disappeared on purpose, made arrangements to be picked up on the road. Law enforcement probably knows something they aren't saying, that could be why they called off the search and rescue so early.
I listened to them talk about the case during the top 5 at 5. They played the audio that Linda Thomas put together and then chatted about the case for a bit. They didn't have any new information beyond what is in that link, they were just baffled as to how someone could be in such nice housing...
Ron and Don posted pictures of the apartment complex she lives in on their Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Ron-Don-Show-on-KIRO-Radio/113101925407371
Haven't seen much on Twitter yet, but did see this:
I couldn't find anything on their website about it yet, but I did find a video (couldn't find the date) of Lindsey Baum's mom commenting on the Metalwala case...
I had not been listening to the Ron and Don show (it started at 3 and it's 4:30 now) but I just saw this on my Facebook feed, and when I turned on the radio, they mentioned it briefly and said that they'll talk about it more during the Top 5 at 5...
It does sound like it happened so fast. KOMO says he shut and locked the door in the face of the case worker. Even if they immediately called 911 there may not have been enough time to do anything.
Oh how horrible. My heart just breaks for the Cox family :( Those poor boys :(
Several people here predicted that Josh would become suicidal, but taking the boys with him was incredibly selfish.
In Washington state, DSHS has been sued and lost (or settled) many times. Really horrible things have happened under their watch due to negligence.
I'm not sure if he could sue in this case though. I don't know if you can sue a judge for making a bad decision. I don't think CPS had an open...
Unfortunately, when this is all said and done, I think we're going to find yet another botched case by Washington State DSHS leading to the death of a child :(
Someone asked in the last thread why there was no reward for the boy. IMO, this is just one of many signs that LE does not expect to find the child alive. Obviously there is a lot they are not telling us.
On local radio station KIRO FM, their reporter said yesterday afternoon that Redmond PD...
Not really... because you have a right to a speedy trial, if they want to arrest him for Susan's murder, they need a pretty solid case before they arrest him. If they can arrest him for kiddie *advertiser censored* sooner, they'll be thrilled I am sure.
I have a friend who was murdered. It was really obvious...
I'm not at all worried about the kiddo while he's at school. Schools have to deal with this sort of thing all the time, so they already have policies in place for it. Given the high profile nature of this case, they'll be extra vigilant I'm sure.
Dori Monson just shared that he has been getting emails from neighbors of the Powells. They say that the schizo brother looks like Zach Galifinakis in the Hangover. The neighbor kids call him the creeper. He looks at them creepily when they walk by the house.
Oh ok, well as long as your brother is only walking around naked in the house and not near the door... uggh talk about creepy uncle for those poor boys.
