Yes, I think the perp wrote the text about going out drinking. I think he wrote it earlier in the evening as a way to buy time and keep her husband from realizing she was missing, but then the text was delayed and did not go through until 1:00.

I live in a rural area and cell reception is pretty poor. Texts can take hours to go through and sometimes they never show up at all.

I think the texts may have been written earlier but did not get sent until 1:00 because of poor signal. Do any locals know what the cell reception is like on the road where she went missing and in the surrounding area?

IMO, it's dangerous to meet an unknown male in a vacant property, no matter what you are wearing. As others have already posted, she may have been wearing longer, Bermuda-type shorts, which would actually be a fairly conservative look and appropriate for a realtor IMO.

I honestly do not think that the woman who spotted JM on the beach looks like HG at all. I think JM was just ogling her because she's a female.

Nope, there hasn't been any explanation for that window of time.

There were other people there when the warrant was served, but LE hasn't made any info about them public. I'd like to know if JM's apartment building has security cameras, and if so, do they show what time he got home that night and was he alone...

As far as I know, LE has not released any information about the roommates, whether they were at the apartment that night, what they told police, etc.

With HG being falling-down drunk, JM might have taken her back to his apartment. If she woke up later and freaked out, JM may have done something to her at that time. She didn't get reported missing for almost 40 hours, and a lot could have happened in that time period. JMO

I hope they catch him soon, before he can hurt anyone else.

Who knows if he paid with his own money? Maybe Hannah had money with her.

Wonder who informed them about the clothing and what the significance of it is? Was it hidden somewhere, or why did they not find it during the first search?
