ACK! You crack me up B&B! The last (and only) time I looked they were probably your average 1-2 inch variety.

I visited in person on Tues afternoon and I was surprised to find that it was not as remote as I had imagined. There were no houses on the street of the cul-de-sac where Nancy's body was found but there was ALOT of construction on Fielding leading into that street. In fact, there was a semi...

It was there when I drove by yesterday at around 300pm too. What happened to the SUV? Is it still (or was it ever) with LE?

    IA IA - Johnny Gosch, 12, W Des Moines, 5 Sept 1982 - What happened? - #3

I currently believe that many of the JG conspiracy theories may be true, however I have read the testimony of PJH and I just don't buy it... I don't know if she's a disinfo agent, mentally disturbed, or just looking to attach her name to a big case for her 15 minutes of fame??? I normally give...

Thanks Entrenous. I so agree with everything you said. :blowkiss:

    First-Hand Impressions / WS Meetup

I brought my camera but didn't take any pics because you all had already provided much better ones than I could have ever taken. There was just two of us... we started out at Java Jive, took Lochmere over to NC's residence. We both got teared up with all the white ribbons on mailboxes and trees...

    Theories

Most of the time it take LE a long time to declare homicide. I think NC was declared homicide as soon as they found the body. There MUST have been some pretty obvious evidence.

ACK! I beg to differ... B&B is my favorite poster. This is a grim topic and B&B adds a little humor which is VERY much needed.

One of the things that struck me when I visited in person today was the terrain. NONE of the pictures that I have seen so far accurately portray the angle of the slope from the side of the road to the area where the white roses are. If NC's body was where the white roses are, it would...

    First-Hand Impressions / WS Meetup

Yep! After visiting the site myself today I have to agree. I now feel pretty confident that she was killed elsewhere and dumped. It just doesn't seem remotely possible that this area was part of her run.

    First-Hand Impressions / WS Meetup

A couple of us locals were not able to go to the meetup last Saturday. We're planning on going today. One of the things I'm interested in is if there are any cut through streets or trails from Lochmere to Holly Springs Rd. Knowing Holly Springs Road, I would agree that Nancy probably would...

Yep, I know the type well... some of the most brilliant people I know (scientific-wise) have absolutely zero common sense. I think the same has been said about Einstein - he couldn't tie his own shoelaces.

I was the one that started the Cisco rumor of COD (heard it from a friend that works at Cisco). Come to find out that rumor was based on a Dr. Baden TV interview. He was only speculating but many people believed him to have inside info. :blushing:

True. But, he runs the risk of his vehicle being seen if he dumped her too. I'm just thinking it would be so much easier to get rid of the evidence if the crime was not done at home and transfered to another location.
  18. W

    Theories

Everyone is assuming that her body was dumped. But what if NC got up at 5:30 or so to go running and Brad followed her on foot (he's a runner too, right?) He could have followed her to the location she was found or somewhere along the way threatened her to run to the location found. There...

I agree with you Fran. If he did it, it sure looks like it was premeditated. If it was a crime of passion or accidental, it seems he would be arrested by now. It would be very difficult to get rid of the evidence in a panic (in such a short period of time). The need for laundry detergent may...
