Discussions on Formal Sentencing Hearing - Jodi Arias #4

I just read on the State vs. JA FB page that on the morning the mistrial was announced, J17 went to the bailiff herself to say they were a hung jury, without saying anything to the foreman first. This information is coming from the admin on that site.

Yeah, I'm not seeing young and I'm not seeing happy. Her eyes look very tired and she looks nuts.

And JA, via Twitter, used the term "gang raped" when referencing Troy Hayden surprising her with cameras post-mistrial announcement.

I second the insane comment and Hersheys sucks. She'll never have good quality chocolate again.

You know, I am coming around, too. I don't think I even believe in the DP. I say I don't, but if someone in my family were to be murdered, I am preeeeeetty sure I would support it. Anyway, I had been thinking general population may be too fun for JA, just too good, but now I'm starting to feel...

I'm sure now BK will be questioned since she shared this publicly.

Someone had mentioned this earlier on here and I can't find the post, so I want to reintroduce the info. I just watched Beth Karas' most recent video and Beth said that she had pulled up J17's Facebook page while waiting for the press conference with the jurors to begin (how did she get her...

Thank you. I have never followed a trial before this one. The judicial system and the way it works (and clearly doesn't work) are some reasons I have paid attention. So they need to wait until the sentencing phase is complete to file an appeal for the conviction?

Here I go again with my, "Am I remembering correctly?", buuuuut, don't the Arias peeps believe they are going to get the conviction overturned? The whole, she was wrongly convicted thing. Is it possible to appeal a conviction or just a sentence? And my brain is mush. Something happened to my...

Yes indeed there are lots of rumors, however, I *thought* that I heard one of the jurors say this during their press conference, that J17 was doing this during deliberations. *sigh* THIS is how rumors begin! I was just wondering if anybody else remembered hearing the same.

I remember hearing that J17 had said she was following the media while serving on the jury with the hope that she would be kicked off. Does anybody else remember hearing that?

I'm glad you asked this, because I've wondered the same thing. I am interested in other people's thoughts. Speaking of mistrial, after all of the crying about over-exposure in the media by the DT, the only juror who probably followed the trial while serving on the jury and used the Lifetime...

I'm thinkin' I need to re-watch her interview and remind myself that JA may very well run into her. Can you imagine?

You crack me up! :giggle: I thought 'ol Angie was on Death Row. Am I wrong? And what are the chances of JA running into Marissa D. in the general population?

I don't know why this kind of disgusting behavior still shocks me, but it does. However, even though I know JA is not tweeting and these may not be her words, all of the tweets post retrial display a lot of anger. This tells me that JA and her camp aren't happy at all with this outcome. Maybe it...

I noticed the same thing. Didn't he also say, "It just wasn't there", as in there wasn't enough evidence to merit the DP. Maybe if she actually LOOKED at the evidence, i.e. the autopsy photos she refused to look at, she may have felt differently.

Juror 1 who had some skepticism about psychology.

Now I'm wondering which juror she was via Twitter descriptions during the trial. One female juror was described as maybe distracted, looking at her nails, not very engaged with it all. Do you remember this? Could it have been J17 who already knew which way she was going to vote?

I asked because they both stated that the DP would be revenge, not justice.
