OMG the Knoxville case of Christoper Newsom and Channon Christian is one of the must disturbing cases I've ever read. And I would have to say that I agree, the perps were not obsessed stalkers or jilited lovers - it was simply a hate crime and VERY rageful.

That's not the correct fair. That is the Arkansas Oklahoma State Fair. The Arkansas State Fair ended at 11pm on the 19th of Otober and was in town for a week prior to that.

yeah I agree the carnival thing is what bad movies are made of, however it was mentioned early on that this was mentioned at some point by a local as being a "rumor" now granted it's a rumor - but I have nothing better to do but run it through the ole' gogglemeister and see what comes up. :)

To our folks in LR - is it true there was a Carnival in town during the time of the attack? I would be curious to know what Carnival it was and to see if perhaps there are any other unsolved crimes in the other towns they visited shortly before or after the time of Anne's attack.
