The state Rests in The State v. Jodi Arias: break in trial until 28 January 2013 #11

I felt so bad for the poor dog when I heard he was left unattended for 5 days. Those dumb-*advertiser censored* roommates couldn't be bothered to take care of the poor dog? No young people who work full time [ like Travis was ] should have dogs in the first place. It's cruel to leave a dog home alone all day...

That forensic psych woman someone posted an interview with said that JA's motive was rage at being rejected after she had "done everything" to win TA's love. OK - yes - agree. And the psych woman said during the killing she went into a frenzy and really didn't think or plan much about what to...

Over on the 48 hours website someone commented this about TA & JA: "Poor guy - thank God his suffering is over. Hers will go on a long time, even if it's just the mental torment of not having access to makeup and men...."

Thanks to all who answered my questions about JA. She sure got around. I guess if you are a decent waitress you can do all right but the woman that called Dr Drew and said she worked with JA at Bing Crosby's restaurant in Rancho Mirage said she was a lousey waitress and no one liked her...and...

So Jodi was a 28 yr old high school drop out when she met Travis in 2007? She had worked as a waitress but was then working for Pre Paid Legal? As what ? And Travis worked for PPL as a "motivational speaker"? To whom was he speaking that need motivation ? The PPL employees? They meet in Vegas...

This is what i think too. It was a lot of trouble she went to. I mentioned this a couple of days ago when I said she was a young attractive woman and she could have just moved on and saved herself some trouble. Someone posted she did move on -to the Mormon guy she visited after the murder. Yes...

thanks for posting that - it is interesting. I saw Dr Drew the other night and he and some of his psych guests were saying Travis probably "liked" or was "attracted to" crazy behavior in a woman due to his background. this whole sick and tragic tragedy is a cautionary tale for males and females...

thanks PrincessSezMe...I guess yes something has to be missing to begin with in these psychopaths . . . .and so many of them seem to thrive despite environments that the rest of us could not have endured....I just wonder, can loving & nurtutrng environments OVERCOME psychopathy that a person is...

ok yes i get that she wanted what he could provide . . but she was not unattractive and she was YOUNG. YOUNG women can "move on" especially if they are attractive young women and they can go on to the next man who could "provide" for them.

But weren't Dahmer's parents in a volatile marriage and then they had an awful bitter divorce? And the mother took the younger brother and moved away? Isn't that "nurture"? Dahmer has abandoned by his mother and the father was so busy working he also abandoned him. I guess if these parents were...

thanks laceybug! I do feel these posts I've been reading are THE most thoughtful and reasonable I've read on this trial. It just slays me that any woman could become this obsessed with a man she knew for - what-? - 5 months?

Hello-I've been reading for days and just registered. So many astute minds on this site. I'm fascinated with this case - it shocks me to my core and Like several of you I am wondering how such a monster like JA can come to be? Was she BORN a psychopath? or CREATED ?
