    Australia Australia - William Tyrrell, 3, Kendall, Nsw, 12 Sept 2014 - #33

I'm coming in late on this one, but is anyone considering the mum? She's potentially on drugs, had William taken off her by the department and potentially is not the most law abiding citizen. The circumstances of the abduction suggest someone who knew the grandmother's home quite well and who...

Seems like he's moving on with his life. Good on him. After the terrible media circus, one can only imagine how bad it would have been for GT. I hope he's making something of himself.

There's no disdain, both the income earner and the parent have an equally important role in society. Oh, I forgot, the joy of child raising is considered 'oppression.'

Source? Statistically, his father probably brought in the wealth and high earnings, but I accept it's his family's money as his parent's likely both contributed equally in their natural gender roles.

He's innocent. He hasn't done anything wrong. He won the case - in any other jurisdiction he'd get indemnity costs. This would have cost him $200,000 at least. His father deserves to recoup some of his retirement fund.

Spot on Colleague. Victory at last. A victory for justice. I personally congratulated GT.

So she's allowed to act completely irrationally but GT is expected to act in the most logical and thoughtful of ways?

Because we have a legal right to defend our homes.

This is now becoming excruciatingly painful. I reckon one jury member reckons they're Sherlock Holmes.

The prosecution knows it has no case. It's hoping to convict on emotion and moral culpability alone. You think the prosecution doesn't know and rely on 'The Courier Mail' effect?

They key is 'unlawful' - the same reason the self defence argument gets him off.

I think if the poll is anything to go by, 25% believe he's not guilty. If the snapshot of WS is anything to go by (and I wouldn't by it as an ordinary sample of society) that's plenty enough to hang a jury up like a wet coat-hanger. Just stop for a minute and put yourself in his shoes right...

There's no point now, The jig is up, Trial by media, It's always going to be tough Gable Tostee He stuck it out Delicious home cooked dinners He will never go without The jury was clever Through the lies they could see That GT was innocent And now he walks free. Shultz

"The second question was: “Could you please clarify the homeowner’s right to remove a person behaving in a disorderly manner. Does removal to the balcony constitute removal from the property?” Justice Byrne replied: “The answer is yes”. Oh no. Doesn't look good for team guilty.
