Maybe it was more than one. It’s strange IMO the father has also left the country. Shouldn’t the wife have gone? Odd. Leaving the wife and three kids to deal with these repercussions. The brother says he’s too meek and kind, the neighbors don’t believe it either. Maybe he witnessed something and...
Well up until this information was released, anyone was a suspect. Now from information the media has released, everyone in North Queensland at least can walk the beaches again with some confidence that some murderer is not lurking in the shadows. It has removed suspicion from people who may...
My mind is a bit blown with the lack of information from Police to the public. Phone records would have been made available fairly quickly, so why has it taken since 23 October till now really for this all to come to light (and in the way it has). And the Police were telling the family the had...
Toyah Cordingley working at Barr St Wholehealth Pharmacy and Healthfoods at Earlville - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
So I wonder if with him supposedly a nurse, he might have obsessed over her, as she apparently worked in a Pharmacy/Health store, maybe he’d been in there. I’m...
It’s just so sad and senseless. Poor Toyah - what an horrific ordeal for all involved. I wonder if he had family here? Did someone see him and report him as having bites and scratch marks? And why didn’t Police act earlier then? If they could match DNA - how long does that all take? If he...
<modsnip - removed quoted post and reference to it>
I guess not knowing the extent of her injuries either... she looked to be pretty small, so maybe someone clocked her in the face, which would be ‘visible and violent’ and then she fell and hit her head on the rocks on the beach? Like that...
<modsnip - not victim friendly> If she was buried, is it odd someone actually found her with no one else around? Obviously we don’t know what it looked like, or whether it was an obvious mound/scratched up sand/ etc... just another thought...
Hopefully there was SOME DNA evidence? I guess there’s the possibility it wasn’t sexually motivated, but surely scratches? Hair? Sweat?
My mind also went to the rocks, what a terrible thought. If that’s the case, how could Police possibly know/find it/check that for DNA if that’s even possible...
7. Whether she went to the beach alone
8. Who tied up her dog
9. Who reported her missing
10. Who searched for her on the beach
11. Who last saw the other dog, who searched for it
Hopes CCTV of Toyah’s final hours will uncover killer
Some good questions in this interview - can’t multitask on my phone, but about friends or family having any unexplained injuries, missing clothing, photos from the area at the time.
So, does that mean they found clothes?? Or just that...
Woman murdered on beach was 'a beautiful, young soul'
Just reading that link... from the outset it didn’t sound positive. You’d assume they would know the ‘cause of death’ by now, but even that wording is confusing to me. So does that mean though her injuries were ‘visible and violent’ they...
I think you’re right too... there’s been no update with the cars which I think they hoped would put pressure on people to come forward rather than wait to be caught. I can’t fathom how it can have taken this long if they had some clear vision of suspect/s. So disappointing.
I think that wording is odd too - or just confused that someone could actually do this horrible crime? Or confused no apparent injuries? Which flies in the face of report of ‘visible and violent’.
Yeah, I go between someone in her immediate circle and the unknown. Just had the beach driving thought pop into my head, like maybe they drove it on it anyway, knowing they shouldn’t and something terrible happened and they freaked (clearly wrong). Then I think it was a deliberate, hate filled...
