As a Den Mother, we provided our Cub Scouts with the healthy snack of "Ants on a Log"
Peanut butter smoothed into the center of a celery stalk and sprinkled with raisins. Crunch of celery, sweetness of raisins, and peanut butter goodness. They loved it and I make it still.
Any one of us who has raised children knows that it isn't always easy. If any one of them is a discipline problem, life becomes one big migraine. But, isn't it our responsibility to take control of that child and do what is necessary to assure that that "child" is not set loose to wreak havoc...
Help me understand what significance there is to a rope. IF she was "noosed" behind the headboard, so what? She was a willing partner. It's not as if TA tied her up against her will to "have his way with her". Again, so what?
Sorry for the delay...had to get dinner on the table.
I probably should have said "discipline" rather than "supervision." I'm referring to the fact that JA kicked her dog until he ran away and never came back (?) she hit her brother over the head with a baseball bat, she kicked her mother...
You are absolutely right. Our courts are so backed up that often innocent people pay the consequences.
My point is this: didn't we as parents teach our children right from wrong...follow the rules, be it at school or home or at the home of friends or relatives. And if you don't follow...
I understand your compassion; however, perhaps she should have murdered somebody elsewhere...perhaps where she could get 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep and 3 meals per day served at her convenience.
I don't mean to be snippy, but this entire situation is frustrating.
I agree and if the delays are due to real health issues, then they are warranted. If they are because she claims she is not well fed or fed often enough, I find that to be a problem. As I said, what makes her so special?
With all due respect...it is my understanding that ALL inmates are awakened at 2 or 3 a.m. when they have to appear in court. They are given their breakfast and are given dinner if they return on time.
This is the procedure for ALL MARICOPA COUNTY inmates...most have to live with it. What...
I am basing my fears on the way I felt when the verdict was announced in the CA trial. I am a grandmother...a senior lady who has NEVER before used the language I used that day. I was certain she would be convicted and could not believe my own anger and frustration.
In all honesty, I think...
Don't mean to be a "downer" but I still worry about there being 1 out of 12 who could believe or sympathize with JA. And that's ALL it takes...1 out of 12!
Question: how are the final 12 selected? By judge? Attorneys? Randomly? Pull numbers from hat?
At one point, I had opined that I thought JA's artwork was quite good. I was criticized for having such an opinion.
But I would like to suggest that if this artwork was TA's, the opinion would be that it is remarkable and JA cut short the life of a talented artist. Our judgment of the work...
Like so many here, I find myself consumed with all things AZ vs Jodi Arias. There are so many unanswered questions at this point, and the nature of this defendant tells us that we will NEVER have the answers.
I am fairly certain that she will be found guilty of 1st Degree Murder...and I, for...
Thank you for your sentiment...I agree and support you. I think what is important to remember is that this is about the murder of Travis Alexander...and I DO believe her to be a pathological liar and guilty of 1st degree murder...but commenting on nonsense including the size and shape of her...
