Did anyone ask if youths in the community are considered at risk? Should they be allowed outdoors without direct supervision? A brazen child killer is on the loose, after all. Should people be hyper vigilant? Lack of information is often the most telling. I sense urgency for justice on behalf of...
We can't sleuth anyone that hasn't been named a POI. It's not really sleuthing, rather, waiting for LE to announce an arrest/poi (plus bonus photoshopping) :D
But we aren't talking to the family, we are posting on a website on the internet, a website dedicated to 'sleuthing crime.' It's perfectly appropriate to discuss & theorize as to how the crime happened, even if some find it distasteful. ‎Imo
Respectfully, the same argument can be made for 98% of the content contained in 18 threads. No one can be 'sleuthed' if they haven't been named a suspect, families are off limits, and theories have to be framed within that context. Unless someone can identify the suspect, no one here is going to...
Question(s)
Do we know which family member dropped them off and at what time of day?*
How long were they allowed to hike before being picked up? Was it a pre-planned event or spur of the moment?
‎
Do the two families know each other outside of a 'friend from school' *type of thing? *‎
It doesn't have the 'ring' of social connections, or 'affluenza,' IMO. Anything is possible, of course, because (attempted) murder never makes sense. 'Greed' as a motivating factor and a spent shell casing on a window ledge kept as a 'memento' seems to indicate something far more pathological...
Although in the very beginning there were indications the A's arranged for legal counsel on behalf of SG, nefarious, unethical attorneys selling their client out to protect a wealthy family isn't a plausible scenario, imo. Many reasons have been delineated by others in recent posts. ‎...
All murderers at some point had no prior criminal history. Because of this guy's age I'm quite sure he's gotten away with plenty for a long period of time. He wasn't the salt-of-the-earth Forest Gump turned psychopathic killer overnight.
No one has been able to predict who will become a...
The impression I have is that she was obviously raped "x2" in a particularly heinous manner as reported early on, but as the investigation moved forward LE decided to put the lid on those details (for any number of reasons.) But I agree, there's never been a question as to the sexual nature of...
Did the utility worker give a verbal as to the suspects race/ethnicity, do we know? The sketch is a bit ambiguous from my perspective (in that it could be anyone but a caucasian.)
Dude lived within the vicinity, ‎was treated for scratches & cuts at the local ER the day following the murder, had multiple summonses against him (from, as I understand it, the entrance/vicinity of the location of murder), knew the area very well, calls made to PD for suspicious male...
"Boyce said Lewis does not have a criminal history, but does have multiple summonses in the Howard Beach area, particularly on the bicycle path that leads to the entrance to the park from the East New York side."‎
That, coupled with the sketch and the perp's profile listed below I can't...
Neither side is pushing, yet you think there's an uphill battle because he has a high power public defender?‎
Not sure I agree. Good luck explaining how he stopped by for a home invasion and left a house full of dead bodies and half eaten box of pizza with his DNA all over the place.‎
Thanks, I don't care. Murder has been around since the beginning. Perhaps the reason can be found primarily in the lack of punitive consequences running rampant in today's society. Instead of holding murders accountable, we look for reasons to justify their actions.
