Victim: Maureen Brainard-Barnes, 25, missing July 2007, found Gilgo Beach Dec 2010 *POI Rex Heuermann*

The whole belt is weird. He’s so careful. He’s gonna leave a belt with his initials? Or does it mean something else? "WH" short for *advertiser censored*? Or nothing at all. LE keeps drawing the public's attention to this belt but do they just dust off decade plus old clues whenever a new show comes on to make...

    HODGE-PODGE - LISK-related

Where is there proof Burke was involved in a lawsuit with Hackett's neighbor and Fluke?

    Victim - Melissa Barthelemy

Sadly, I don't think they recorded it. If they had it all this time and were not asking the public to identify it they are criminally negligent IMO.

    FBI Involvement

I don't know. The last I spoke with the woman from NamUs was in December when she said it's not a Suffolk PD case but the MEs do intend on entering it eventually. I haven't reached out to the FBI if that's what you're asking.

Will the Long Island Serial Killer ever be caught?

100% because at some point I'll drop them a line just to make sure.

Will the Long Island Serial Killer ever be caught?

This is the answer I just got from NamUs: "Yes, that case is not a Suffolk County PD case. ME said they are still planning on entering it. Not much more I can do until they do." So it sounds like maybe it's because she was found on Nassau County side that there has been a delay since it's a...

Will the Long Island Serial Killer ever be caught?

No, ME 2 was under the misguided impression that all the victims had been entered.

Will the Long Island Serial Killer ever be caught?

Yep and then in October of 2013 I was told that there was a new ME. Then in April of this year I was sent the following email from my contact at NamUs: Apr 15 to me Okay when you are able see what specifics you can find me because the ME's office is saying they are all there and I have no...

Will the Long Island Serial Killer ever be caught?

I hope the Feds take a good long look at why the mother is not in NamUs. I personally think either SCPD misplaced her remains or decided they needed to keep her out for reasons to protect the department in some way.

Cases possibly of interest for the LISK case

I dunno it sounds weird to me too; I was just curious if Hawk meant what I thought he meant. It could be a lot of things. Anything in the Brooklyn network always piques my interest though and I hope they put him through the ringer.

So can we extrapolate that they "have their man" in Akeem and his compatriots? A "smokescreen" like this has the Feds written all over it.

    POI: Michael Pak

I think it might even be worth it to make a Google Earth film thread in the hopes Gray Hughs or others in the future would make more. It really does help to have that perspective!!!!

The video Gray Hughs made has the dates and is helpful with this too. It's the GB4 in December then Taylor on March 29th, the Asian, Infant, JD 6 on April 4th and then on April 11/12th they find Fire Island head (skull on top of bag) and Mother's remains. And then, actually, two weeks later...

My problem with Kolker's map is that it seems to suggest the Mother of toddler is JD 6 (or Manorville 2000) which it is not. Go to the Kolker map and hover over "Unidentified Human Remains" on Nassau side and read how he incorrectly connects them to Manorville. But it's really not Kolker's...

I don't know if skull had hair or how they managed to come up with sketch. The Fire Island legs were in a plastic bag and so was skeleton of Mother. But I think head was just covered in sand.

    POI: Michael Pak

Yep... I didn't say it was the Mother's skull, Puggle did - but yes that's right Mother's remains were upper extremities I had always heard with no head. Which makes sense since that's where they found bracelets and no sketch was made. But it's just so weird she's not in NamUs. I feel like they...
