There was just an interesting report on Milwaukee TMJ4. They have been going over Zelich's nearly 1000 page personnel file.
Key points:
-While a West Allis cop, he was investigated for "Neglect of Duty," "Unbecoming Conduct," and "Abuse of Position."
-The internal affairs investigation into...
Thanks for this. I had been looking for his history with the Mequon PD, but hadn't been able to find it. I actually know the police captain quoted in the article, but haven't talked to him in many years.
SZ's sister owns a 4000 square foot home in Mequon.
There is a 49 year old woman in Mequon, who formerly had the last name Zelich. I wonder if she is his sister. She is listed as a defendant in the embezzlement lawsuit against Steve and several searches show her as a connection to him. I'm not sure if I should mention her name.
I found it. If you go to this link and forward to the end of the video, the next video will be the Zelich/prostitute story:

Here is the video to the TMJ4 story I mentioned earlier: http://www.jrn.com/tmj4/news/i-team/Suspect-in-suitcase-murders-investigated-in-2001-for-attempted-rape-265459411.html
Unfortunately, I just missed the 10:00 interview with the prostitute, but it will hopefully be online later.
The TV report also says that the police searched Zelich's house earlier this year in their investigation of Simonson's disappearance.
They also mentioned that they haven't filed murder charges yet because there is currently no evidence of a murder.
I just saw a story on Milwaukee TMJ4 about the prostitute incident while Zelich was a West Allis police officer. Hopefully, the video will show up online.
They briefly showed the incident report. Pausing the DVR, I can read that it happened on 5/13/2001 at 3:38 AM. The police received a call...
I'm also curious as to the accuracy of some early reports that Zelich had also been a police officer in the city of Mequon (where I live). Based on the time frame, it would have to have been prior to West Allis. If it's true, I have to wonder about the circumstances of him leaving that job and...
My big question is why did this psycho leave the suitcases along the road where they would be found? He could have easily thrown them in a dumpster at some point.
Could it have been just a tiny bit of humanity that he wanted them to be identified to have closure for the families?
That's odd. I've lived in the Milwaukee area my entire life and never heard this. A google search only brings up this thread.
It's also a weird joke for someone from Milwaukee to make since the crime rate in Milwaukee is almost triple that of Kenosha.
Trayvon last played football when he was 14 years old. You know, when he looked like he did in the pictures so many people complained about because he looked so young and innocent.
The contention that the defense doesn't have to prove anything is false. GZ admits that he shot and called Trayvon Martin. He has to prove that it was self-defense or he's negligent in a homicide.
Am I crazy or didn't RJ say Trayvon told her he was "near" his Dad's? "Near" is not the same as "at." Anywhere on the sidewalk could be referred to as "near."
The obession with him playing football is bizarre. He last played football when he was 14 years old. You know, when he looked like he did in all the pictures everyone complained about because he looked so young and innocent?
