Forgive me if this has been mentioned elsewhere, I've just returned to this thread and haven't read all of the previous entries. Someone mentioned earlier that GBC at the funeral looked the most sad they have seen him while holding his children's hands. I saw this footage as well and can't...

Cocaine might make you desperate for more cocaine but I don't think it makes you delusional. It enhances the way you feel but I don't think it would alter someone that much to turn someone into a person who would justify killing.

Attack the comments not the commentator. Don't care who started it!

I think the media have actually been surprisingly controlled and have stayed away from speculation. I find this quite unusual. It's like they have been given guidelines by the police and told that they could jeopodise the case by either giving too much info or by leaking information. A...

Yes, there could be a twist to all this but most of us are working with the evidence we know -- and that's not a lot -- so there is always a real chance that we have got something wrong. It's like guessing a picture in a jigsaw with only a certain amount of pieces.

The article mentions guilt at not doing enough. It's almost as though they know what happened and they think they could have prevented it. Very, very sad for the parents.

Thanks for your replies. I'm not saying it was suicide, I just wanted other people's take on what it might mean.

I think that one interview convinced a lot of us that he was probably not telling the truth. I know when I saw that I had little doubt that he was trying to hide somethiing and get away from the media as quickly as possible. A lot of little things just seemed wrong like his voice being a...

At this point I can't see it not involving the husband. The police have made no fresh appeals, using the family which they normally do, to catch the killer. As far as I know they haven't arrested or detained anyone else to question for longer than 4 hours. It is as though they know the killer...

True, but it's not clear if the police are telling the media that or the media have asked GBC and he was not telling them who he thinks killed Allison. You are right about him not telling the media anything, I can understand that. And I know I'm speculating about what an obtuse article is...

Strange article in the CourierMail saying that GBC will not say who he thinks the killer is and also the parents saying they were told that she went for a walk and didn't return. This is also mentioned in the article 'He told detectives his wife hadn't returned from a walk she took at 10pm the...

Just when things were starting to calm down. Let's just draw a line in the sand and move on please. True what some previously said about staying on topic.

"Mr Baden-Clay is recovering from a car accident which occurred just two days after his wife was reported missing. He was taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital after crashing his car outside Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, in Brisbane’s west on Sunday afternoon. Mr Baden-Clay suffered very...

It could also just be the implausibility of his story -- she went walking at 10pm and I just went to bed and only noticed she wasn't there at 7:30 -- and the way he told it. I think most people would agree that the only time he spoke to the press he was pretty unimpressive. I'm not saying the...

It looks like the police are being very patient and meticulous. They obviously have a suspect and they know where he/she is and are busy gathering evidence against that person. Appologies if I'm just rehashing other comments.

I wouldn't blame yourself. It could be just a friendly reminder of the rules and a bit of tidy-up admin.

I don't think the police are watching this forum. We have very few corroborated facts and most of the stuff written is speculation, which is great but the police have to be lead by the facts. Don't get me wrong I really like this site and think it is a great way to try and make sense of a...
