Australia Australia - Marion Barter, 51, missing after trip to UK, June 1997 #13

I am leaning towards this. If Marion left thinking she had enough money at hand to live on for quite a while, she had discussed buying a unit upon her return from OS with Sally, she might have left some money here for that reason. Maybe RB didn't know about the name change until they met in...

Just reading through RB extensive NAA file.... In hindsight it is sad to say they really dropped the ball.

Usually a PO has to be against someone particular. It's a protective order either domestic or personal for one person and those that live with them against someone else. I don't think you can take one out against faceless/nameless potential harassment, endangerment etc Edit to say thats...

And just as an aside .... he totally is the type of person that takes the note pad, pen, shampoo/conditioner, shower cap, anything thats not nailed down etc from the hotel. I found that funny today he was 100% sure he never took a notepad from the hotel in Japan, but can't remember the most...

One PO for the daughter and one for the son or mother? If it was for TLV team there would be more than two. Usually it is one adult and any related people including children that are in a domestic relationship (living together) per order.

Especially if you live up on the north coast. It was on the news often. MIL was a teacher at Ballina High, now retired, and she does not live there anymore but was well aware shortly after (a few months) it was first released. Friends from the area contacted her about it.... because everyone was...

I am hoping that Marion’s painting has turned up and the new owner has a story to tell.

So happy to find people talking about this. I’ve watched every day of the inquest and wanted nothing more than to discuss….. Hoping he is referred to the DPP for prosecution, at the very least for fraud. Deportation, since he fraudulently claimed to have no serious health conditions and no...

Ha, wouldn't that be interesting! I thought I'd read it they had matched him, but maybe not :/.

I just wonder how they got the familial DNA to test against. How would they pick him out and then test a family members DNA. It's not a straight forward thing, there are certain markers that need to match up..... then they could match things like mitacondrial DNA to further confirm the match...

Hi guys. Just on the Telstra connection. I started working for Telstra in Sydney in late 1995. Right around then is when the new logo came out. Prior to that it was just the orange circle with the T in it and then telecom in smallish black writing after it. Not the whole body paintwork it is...

There are a lot of retired people in the area. Older people move there to retire. There's also alt of grandparents helping out their kids with babysitting and before and after school care. I grew up there and my parents live in Wauchope as does my sister and her husband and three boys!!! Makes...
