I'm thinking back to this stage in Becky's murder, as I remember it the 96 hours is from when they were first arrested for kidnap, i.e. the clock didn't start again when they were re arrested. My laptop died a few weeks ago, and finding things and copying and pasting isn't as easy on my phone...

Just so saddened and sick, I a horrible feeling about it yesterday, but it's still such a sickening blow to read that today. I'm hoping and hoping they find Kayleigh soon. For her family's sake, the worst nightmare imaginable. For justice too, so the police can get all the evidence they need...

Sorry, looking back the phone was found on Saturday, I wonder if it wasn't handed in straight away? Or just handed in as lost property, with there not being a missing person appeal at that time?

Didn't they find the phone today (Tuesday) ? I'm not certain, there was some confusion around what her brother said, but I thought it was Sunday before the family realised she was missing.

Could one of the arrested men have claimed she stayed with him on Friday night, and claimed she left safe and well on Saturday?

I see her brother says she was supposed to be having a sleepover at a friend's. I wonder if she was meant to be with the same friend on Friday and Saturday nights. She may have said on the phone on Saturday where she would be that night and they've found out since that she didn't stay where...

Yes I agree that what they did with Becky's body is a heinous crime in itself. It doesn't seem right to me that if SH had been guilty of *only* participating in the events after the murder, she would have only got three years. I would have been outraged if that had happened. Three years for...

I know they're concurrent sentences, but the 3 years for preventing lawful burial and 2 years for perverting the course of justice seem incredibly lenient to me.

Just wow. I wasn't ready, I feel like I need to get my breath back. Going to walk my dog and pull myself together. I can't put words together into sentences just yet. Justice for Becky.

I'd like to have heard from MM about the cake tin, e.g. did she want it back quickly, was it rare for MM to go to CH and so it was important the cake tin go back that day. I wouldn't like to be on a jury, I'd want to be asking my own questions.

That's what I'd assumed it was. Regarding the cake tin and it being the reason they went round that day, I think SH said that it was her that found the tin, so her idea to return it. So if that was just an excuse to go round when AG wasn't in, then for me that means SH was involved before they...

I find these texts between NM and SH about the 16 yo girl that worked at Law's Kitchen really, really creepy. Looks as though SH sent her a FB message to try and get chatting with her back in November. By January NM is saying he saw her at work and she didn't speak to him. I wonder if she...

http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/dale-cregan-trial-jury-retires-4050282 Dale Cregan in the above article it states he chose not to give evidence in the witness box. So it seems they can't be forced to have to stand there and 'no comment' they can just decline.

I think the lift back to Cotton Mill Lane was in JI's car, which was noted to have gone from his work's car park. Later his car re-appeared at work, but the van had gone. The packages were moved in the van, the van seen on CCTV, so I don't think JI can just claim to have given NM and SH a lift...

It seems most likely to me these clothes and shoes got blood on them, but I also wondered if they possibly have grabbed some of Becky's things from her room, to make it look like she'd taken clothes, shoes and make up with her when she 'disappeared'. PS thanks all as ever for the updates...

It sounds as though KD and JI had come out of work together again on March 2nd. I wonder why? It sounds to me as though NM told police where Becky's body was at just about the same time as KD and JI were heading back to Barton Court, I wonder if they were hoping to move the packages themselves...

Daily Mirror article 'DC Simon Wallis...said the bathroom door was shut, with a towel rolled up at the bottom....It was cleaner than the rest of the house. The bathroom window was open. The actual bath itself was clear.' http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/becky-watts-murder-trial-shown-6628363

It sounds like they mainly lived in their bedroom when at home and lived off toast and takeaways. Also seems likely to me that they did spend a lot of time at AG's. I had wondered if it was normal for them to hang around there all day as the did the day Becky was killed.

The van wasn't around for long, but as I recall it, KD and JI first left work in JI's car. They picked up NM and SH from her mother's and took them to Cotton Mill Lane. Then for some reason one or both of them went back to work to get the van and then used the van to move the packages and...
