I like what you are saying here. But IMO Taylan was through with her the night before. He either got what he wanted, or not, and than avoided her that morning. It was just too convenient that he "overslept" and they did not connect. I think SS expected to link up with him that day. But went...

Can we get off the issue of gold? It is a very insignificant point to this case. It speaks to motive, or the lack of theft being the motive, to be more precise. We cannot apply a logical thought process on the part of the perp. It was obviously a case of uncontrolled rage probably brought...

After having cut my literary teeth on Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men" I have no difficulty imagining a drugged, mentally disabled person panicking and doing what is necessary to "make it stop."

I have not been to Istanbul. I cannot speak intelligently about conditions there. I have been many places very similar. IMO the homless, or rejects of society, the dredges, would have a very healthy disrespect for the law, or fear. And I would think they would not have a cell with a family...

Where does it say the calls were to the US. And can you even tell where a Skype call is placed to? Skype is simply software on a machine, talking and videoing to software on another machine, somewhere in the world where there is internet. I think what the quote said, 3 or 4 threads ago, is...

A hair sample taken from his brothers house matched a blood sample on SS's shirt and skin under her fingernails.

I think if I were a homeless person I would have a distrust for anyone, especially anyone in authority. My meager survival depends on staying out of the way, not making waves. Would I run to assist a random woman? No...I would continue to survive. Probably hide...maybe even go into hiding or...

I keep thinking about the Munich connection (sounds like a movie title). I don't think we have even been able to determine a motive for going there. It was discussed at length a couple threads ago and suggested that maybe it was just a flight layover. But why fly through Munich? The issue has...

Everything SS did on this venture was wholly selfish. Her family was not a consideration. She pushed them aside like yesterday's laundry and went off on her own.

I think what they said was there was a blood trail from the first cave to the second that they verified with luminol. And to answer a post you had earlier, I heard a quote the other day that, "Everything is about sex! Except sex - sex is about power."

GUILTY Turkey - Sarai Sierra, 33, NY woman murdered, Istanbul, 21 Jan 2013 - #4

IMO photography was not the primary motivator in SS's interest in photography. We have no evidence to support that she toured NY on her own to photograph. It was always with a group doing a specific walk. I suggest SS was more interested in the social aspect of her new found interest and the...

Sorry, ThinkHard...it was a typo. I meant to say "bottom" as opposed to "body", refering to the picture post cited. It is my understanding that she was found in the cave/cutout in the wall that has a one-meter hole in the front (obvious in pictures) but it open in the back. I cannot verify...
