If im correct, only her lawyer gets to here them (if there needs to be an objection), she doesnt....

AZLawyer posted about this up in the ask a lawyer thread. JA has a constitutional right to assist her counsel in her defense and to be present at all stages.
I would guess that means she gets to read them while her attorney does.

:furious:

How does one explain the camera in the hallway?

Remember, the camera was not taking pictures upside down in the bathroom where she claims to have dropped the camera, but deep down in the hallway.

no one said the camera was FOR SURE in the hallway

I beleive it was inside the bathroom, at the end of the hallway, where the hall opens up to the bathrrom.

Jodi was remarkably organized for someone in a fog. She managed to get rid of most if not all of the damning evidence. Even took time to delete the pictures, put the knife in the dishwasher, take the load from the washer to put in the dryer and then add the load for the washer. She managed to drag Travis' body and put it in the shower, wash him off, pick up the gun, the camera, the knife, the rope (all of it even though she claimed she did not know what he did with the piece he cut off and, oh yes, re-remembered he put it beside the bed), wash herself off because she left no trail of blood on the way out the door. It also struck me that while she was still in the house Travis' phone rang for the conference call he was suppose to be on. I can't help but wonder they tried more than once to call him but it never snapped her out of her fog. She truly is "Wonder Woman" in a nutshell. jmo

Jodi herself said that the fog didn't descent until later, and was related to her memory only and not her behavior that night. It's really quite clever, since it allows her to do all the things you mention but not remember them. Well, it WOULD be clever if it made any sense.

Same here, grammie. I am a bit Dum~Dumfounded that there are any questions at all. To me, all of JA's lies = circumstantial evidence of her GUILT.

Yes but she's spent the last 2 weeks insulting these peoples intelligence with her lies. I'd have a book of questions to throw at her. :furious:

Who said anything about willfully?

It's true that particularly traumatic memories can become "blocked" and difficult if not impossible to recall. I think she really can't recall all the gruesome details and is manipulating and milking that to her advantage.

Actually, the repressed memory theory is not viable according to what most trauma experts say today. Instead, people who have experienced trauma, can't forget and they develop PTSD, which allows the traumatic experiences to haunt them forever.

Professionals who concentrate on healing trauma find their biggest task is to allow the victims relief from the memories.

A great trauma specialist who writes about this is psychiatrist Bruce Perry who wrote The Boy Who Was Raised Like a Dog.

marriage proposals and baby names are positive. why didn't they make the journal?

did she write it on a torn out page where she practiced writing 'mrs. travis alexander' 300 times? with hearts over the i's?

That makes me think about what a person line Jodi dors when they do get the guy to marry them. I'm thinking about Dahlia Dippolito, etc. either way, it would have ended in murder, IMO.

Travis has been described as a real horndog by JA. Did any other women testify to having an intimate relationship with him?

They could not find anyone to testify that he had sex outside his relationship with Jodi. In fact, his ex testified that he was a gentleman and never tried to have sex with her.

While we await the proceedings of the day a question came to me.

Someone recently posted an outstanding account of how one could detect bullets in the chamber of a .25 caliber pistol. Assuming we know what Grandpa’s gun was like, how would a spent casing be ejected from a single discharge of this particular gun?

It seems to me someone claimed previously that the casing would be ejected to the shooters right side and outward. How does the casing’s final position on the blood pool comport with JA account of where she was when TA started the linebacker tackle and where the gun “accidently discharged”?
It seems to me that if the casing were ejected out and to her right side her account of how the shooting went down is a provable lie???

Are there any thoughts out there on this question???

You are right the spent shell casing does eject to the right side and it could not have been possible for the casing to land in some blood where it was found

I DO NOT like the fact that Arias and her attorneys will have time to think up lies - I mean answers to the juror's questions.
All other juror's questions were not discussed with Arias first. I want them to be answered off the cuff instead of giving her a chance to think about them.

I was just thinking that. I guess it's "fair" for the defense to see them first, but ughhhh... :banghead:

No idea...did you watch that you tube video Snowshuze posted near the end of the last thread where Travis is talking about a gun at his head - Jodi sprawled all over him like a leech ? He keeps pointing to his right temple, I think she paid attention...

Eerie. OMG - she planned the murder to look like his worst nightmare.

Beth K just said JM will be able to ask JA follow up questions.

And you think that because?

There's still more defence witnesses, a rebuttal, and closing arguements.

Agree totally. This was no "Burning Bed" case with witnesses to domestic violence. No witnesses that substantiate seeing injuries consistent with domestic violence. No instances of violence with prior girlfriends. No friends or people who knew Travis stated he had a uncontrollable temper. Just the word of an admitted liar. The jury will be instructed they can ignore part or all of that testimony. I'm not seeing a hung jury.

The shell casing couldn't have been ejected from the gun where she said she was standing and landed where it was found.
The chances of it being kicked to where it was found are slim to because the shell casing is very small.
It looks big in the photo but in real life it is quite small.
If it was kicked it would have rolled in blood or water so there would be some residue on it.There is none

Just my quess - were Jodi standing where she said, I suspect the casing would have most likely landed in the bath tub. Unless the gun was a special order for a left handed person - the casing would eject to the right. Keyword being eject - it doesn't just fall out - the blow back gases from firing push the slide back and the casing out with significant force.

In my opinion, whether the gun came first or the stabbing came first is a difference without a distinction. If she brought the gun, she intended to use it...ergo premeditation. If she shot him first, and then felt the need to stab him 28 TIMES and slit his throat to his spinal cord, then that is enough for the cruelty aspect IMO and possibly an even better case for it than stabbing him first and then shooting him, because no one can possibly believe that TA is the incredible Hulk and got angrier and more "ferocious" after being SHOT IN THE HEAD. If she stabbed him and then shot him, the sheer overkill is enough for the cruelty. Either way, she gets the needle.

This has been my thought as well. Although I am personally inclined to believe the ME, I agree that the sequence isn't really all that important. Either way, her claim of self-defense is absurd and I think the case for premeditation has been made beyond any reasonable doubt. Unless there is some benefit to her to tell the truth at some point in the future, we will simply never know for certain the more precise details of what happened when.

I do truly believe he thought she had left his house and she made her way back in with the gun. She shot him after the last pic of Travis' shocked look and the flash.

None of the pics prior to the last "accidental" one have a flash. They are also very shaky and crap quality and Jodi claims she is a photographer?!! pffffttt

There is an earlier photo where he is looking at the camera. It's about 2/3 of the way through the shoot.

Also, it kinda looks like he is posing for the camera in some of the shots.

Not me, I would ask Jodi to demonstrate (with Nurmi as TA) the sequence of events starting with the dropped camera. I would want Juan timing it. That version she gave from the body slam on is ridiculous.

And after she demonstrates that charade stop the timer and restart the timer as she moves back to the witness stand. Show the court how long that took for her to get back to her seat vs all the 62 seconds of bs with the gun retrieval and gunshot.

Funny how the video we saw last night about his near death encounter of having a gun held at his head for a long period of time does not match him going after her when he can see she is holding a gun in her hand.

What video is this? Can anyone post a clip here? Thanks!

OH, OH, OH, Juan gets follow up questions for each question from the jurors!!!

Did I understand correctly that JA AND Numi get to look at the questions together? That doen't seem fair to me. When the other witness's asked questions JA and Nurmi didn't get to look at them first. It was BAM ! they were just asked. I hope JA doesn't get to THINK about how to answer these question's to support her stupid ridiculous testphony
