But wouldn't they need to match up to the account in Amy's name in order for her to get money from that account? The bank should have seen that the info on the check did not match the account info.

If she wrote the check to herself, then it stands to reason that she would have had no problem whatsoever cashing it in the originating bank. We, my dh and I, do it all the time. He has a couple of clients who write him checks and we never have any problem whatsoever going to THEIR bank, signing OUR name and whala-CASH...

Whoa, I did not know that Target sold celery? I guess our Target stores are not the Super Targets yet. She bought a basket load of food AND the cashier........she didnt even look at the ID!! She took it,placed it behind the check, punch in the numbers, slid the check into the registers slot and then handed back the ID, without even looking at it first!! Dumb!!

They log it into some data base. Is that true for FL? If so I wonder if LE has looked to see what id she used.

I agree, one would imagine, but I misspelled MY OWN name :doh: and they still sent me the checks.

I also have never been able to use a starter check anywhere- but DH just opened up a new acct and printed his name, etc on his starter checks. With a little ingenuity and gumption, anything is possible! And she's def got both.

If you misspell your name (or mistype...hopefully ) while attempting to use a check online it will not go through. At least it did not go through for me. If you order your checks from your bank, and not another company, you would hope they'd get your name right...but I'm pretty sure they don't print them up themselves.

Poor Caylee she saw the DEVIL on her way to Heaven. Casey is the most versatile criminal I have ever seen, my heart is just racing watching her cash a forged check at a bank, (no less) without a care in the world.

I thoroughly believe that this girl has been committing similar monetary crimes for as long as she could walk...it's almost like she was born a criminal and destined to spend the rest of her life in jail.

This one caught my eye, a check written to herself with Amy's name for signature - it looks exactly the same.

Every male twenty something I know loves emm(females too)... That and cereal..loads of it.. As for popsicles..young adults who keep their weight in mind eat them..espsceially here in Hot Florida..a lighter healthier snack
