Hey, this map doesn't show where ALL the bones were found. JB, you cheater!!!!!!!

I never liked him. Always felt he was blowing hot air and very unusual. Fame mongerer, IMO.

You read that wrong. The jurors are picked/seated prior to opening statements as are the alternates. We already know who the jurors are and who the alternates are.

On another subject, my feeling from the way JB is calling witnesses is that he has no real defense to present.

I seem to recall hearing the judge saying the jury would not know who would serve the final 12 untill they were ready to retire.

Oh JB. Desperately trying to introduce and publish exhibits (he also mistakenly calls "State's" instead of "Defense"

Baez: Bumble, fumble, mumble, rustle, rattle, smirk, snort

I can tolerate this witness much better. She's explaining things more clearly. Mic is turned up too high. Wish someone would adjust that.

IIRC, didn't Baez attempt to challange this heart sticker previously??

Oh my god. Bones sifted in a bucket. I can't imagine why JB is asking her about this. He's sick of Casey and wants to get her found guilty ASAP?

Just so you know...the DT case has me drinking wine this early in the afternoon....shoesies...may have to give self imposed TO soon. Hiccup.

Me too Stiletto! A nice, crisp Pinot Grigio. Talking on the phone with my Dad, who lives in Florida, about what he missed while he was out.

I told him that I had to pull out the wine because my brain is absolutely NUMB from watching the "paint dry" today.

To think that I canceled my hair appt. today, thinking that today's testimony would be remotely interesting.

Cheers gal!

I thought this was helpful in re: the 13 point DNA testimony:

http://www.orchidcellmark.com/dnatestresources/resultsinterpretation.html

BTW, I think I'm going crazy.....

Caylee is a 14,15
Casey is a 15, 19
George is a 17 at the same marker?

Did anyone else hear that? Anyone else think that can't be right?

I thought he was not a 17 at that marker (d3 I believe) I missed a few piece because my boy was pretending to be a sheet worm monster and trying to get me.

DIRECT EXAMINATION OF ROBIN MAYNARD BY JB:

In 2008 she was a CSI with OCSO.

She collected Exhibit S-313.

She recognized a photo of the cardboard mat with a raised pink heart shaped material. Photo marked as Defense Exhibit 16.

She was in charge of the sifting items. Items were coming in buckets with the searchers initials, lane numbers and coordinates. If they found something in the sifting, they would photograph it and indicate the lane and coordinates. This item came from Lane 6 - 45 feet west of the baseline.

Defense Exhibit A-T (stipulation that it is not to scale). Marked as D-17. It was published to the Jury. JB then published the prior photo because he forgot to do it earlier and the Jury did not get to see it. (What is it about this exhibit - it was the same item that had to be put back up by JA and passed around to the Jury).

She indicated on D-17 where lane 6 is and where 45 feet from the base line was. She then indicated where the bones were found in the sifting only. It can't be exact because it came from a bucket that was sifted. 13 bones were found in the sifting. She believes there was a bone found in lane 6, but doesn't recall how many feet west of the baseline it was.

No further questions by JB.

No questions by LDB.

Witness is excused.

omg, he ENDS on "yes there was a bone in lane 6"????

Heeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Thanks JB!

 LDB has no questions.

JB just basically had her show where the sticker was found!

haha--she said something Baez was not expecting--"Yes, there was one other bone found in lane 6, I am just not sure how far from baseline...."
