Perhaps..after the verdict... ask Samantha to get with the family and offer them the final decision of what they want done with your notes. And then do as his family wishes perhaps? that perhaps would show greatest respect for the family. who knows, then they may want you to keep them so that 5 years from now when they do 1 of those things on television, you can put in your words and be interviewed? I don't know, it maybe just a discussion for the family for you. karma brought you to this family the first day when there was a mix up with the seating. so I think there will be a karma at the end too.

That's a good idea. i will just put them all in a package and give them to them (not that anyone can read them) but let it be up to them to do what they will.

I just saw this on a screen shot, too! That is just plain NUTS! I was working and listening during the testimony, so I completely missed it. Thank goodness for photobuckets!

I'm glad I'm not depending on the news outlets for all my info. These forums provide so much more insight than the salacious sound bites. Every show plays the same clips! This one journal entry shows how disturbed she was not long after they broke up.

Also relevant: JA did NOT see suicide as a way of escape, even then. :twocents:

Oh one more thing. Travis family friend today asked me if I was writing a book. I'm glad she asked me (so I could clarify) but it gave me a little feeling of heartbreak if people were wondering that about my furious note taking. She has a friend who lurks here who told her about me (shout out to you btw) so I explained where my notes were going and that I was also doing it to keep from blowing my stack in court.

I would never, EVER take advantage of this family by doing anything like that. My participation is just what you see it is. No other agenda whatsoever. In fact I'm wondering what to do with all my journals I'm taking notes on. Anyone want them? Tricia?

I've gotten some weird looks when I've taken notes. It never occurred to me someone may think I'm writing a book. Yikes!
No way I'd write a book. I'm a horrible writer for reasons I explained to you recently. Plus, I just wouldn't do it out of respect for the family of Travis.

Can someone tell me what a 'Mitigation Specialist' does, and is this job a professional one?

I am annoyed with the woman who has been described as the defense 'mitigation specialist'--she is completely unprofessional: clothing, jewelry, facial expressions, texting, etc.

Do any of the jury pay attention to her?

The gum chewing is what bothers me.

How creeped out was Katie by the Jodi stares? I bet she does stare at her because she's so pretty. Jodi wouldn't like that.

Just heard Bill, Dr. Drew's producer report the exact same stuff I did on the CEO. It was glaringly obvious and he's been one of THE MOST attentive and serious. He was just over it.

I'm reading about these other women on death row. It's interesting. These all could have easily been acquittals. Arizona juries seem no-nonsense. The other BS doesn't seem to cloud their vision, what's important. They keep their eye on the prize. That might be what's going on with the CEO. It's like, move on already. I could be wrong, there are only 3 women on their death row. But I feel better about this. Debra Milke was a pretty woman who probably batted her lashes and cried for the son she had killed. And now, here she is. We shall see. The evidence here is overwhelming.

Oh, ok. Thanks for the clarification. I am curious who the older tall guy is who takes lots and lots of notes. I saw him sitting out in the hall going over pages of them.
