Whenever I see a list of the names like this, I think of whoever commented here that it’s like when you’re trying to use the same password or name on an email address and have to keep punching in random variations. It makes me laugh, not because the situation is funny, but because I do take a sort of dark pleasure from imagining him trying to remember a combo that he hadn’t used yet, or trying to keep track of them all.

Many names, but the same old jerk, amirite.
AC questioning AkA at the inquest on day 7 (16 Feb 2022): “I apologise when I asked you why you had changed your name from Richard West back to Willy Wouters, I should have said Wouters Willy

And AKA assumes everyone will believe him when he says that he changed his name so frequently for no particular reason. Yeah, right.

Every time I rewatch DdeH at the inquest I come away thinking she is lying through her teeth.
JMO of course

I dont know if anyone else has actually found this MYSTERY Family Coffee Lounge she and he speak of - please post it up if you have and put that to bed - BUT IMO there never was a coffee lounge owned by her parents.

IF there was then it must have been one hell of a GOLDMINE right there in the middle of the CBD in Sydney.

Because her father and mother owned PRIME Real Estate as most of us know throughout the 60s/ 70s
RGW travelled so much and at times with the whole family, I have to wonder HOW they managed to keep a little cafe going in the middle of the CBD and be able to afford the trappings of those mansions - one was right across the road from VAUCLUSE HOUSE

The family's year and a half long holiday to the UK where they came home on the Chusan and low and behold, on that VERY ship - having NEVER used a ship before for his travels, is none other that WILLY WOUTERS himself.
What a coincidence right!!

Disguised as Fredy David, using the name Willy Wouters - as Diane testifies and was "still using that name up until they marriage in 1976" - BUT she "always called him Ric even though his name was WW".

She is asked by AC - have you ever heard him use the name Fredy David - long pause then NO - Lux Furniture Business 1980 photographic evidence of her and him - more lies

They all leave Southampton together, on a ship bound for Australia - he as the ships photographer - NO DOUBT a free ride under the guise of a 'real job' taking the passengers photographs ( they are probably STILL waiting for them! )
for a few months on the Chusan and a free ride to Australia - the ship they named their daughter after.
She was 19 and he was 33
Sounds so romantic - we know the players are nothing but.

1970 - 1971
So coincidental that they ALL come back from the UK on a ship - Diane meets him and low and behold, he stays at a place, a VERY wealthy residence at 59 Dolphin Crescent not too far from her address (which is owned by her parents of course).

Lets look at these properties of the parents who run a "coffee lounge" - where Diane claims WW worked in part time - yeah right. WW is doing dishes out the back or serving customers - what else would he be doing in a small run cafe in the 70s???

1949 - they are living in Bellevue Hill - her home duties / him Manager - this is the address RGW lived with his first wife and Dianes step brother

1954 - living 7 ALEXANDER ST BONDI

1958 - living at 23 Vaucluse Road Vaucluse

1958 - also at 7 Alexander St BONDI

1963 - still at 23 Vaucluse Rd VAUCLUSE - SO THEY HAVE ALEXANDER ST AND VAUCLUSE ROAD AT THIS POINT

1971 - 55 Olola Avenue Vaucluse - across the road from VAUCLUSE HOUSE ( ANOTHER COINCIDENCE ABOUT THIS PROPERTY COMING UP)

1971 - 23 Vaucluse Rd Vaucluse - Diane listed at this address – Secretary - SO THEY HAVE OLOLA AVE AND VAUCLUSE ROAD AT THIS POINT

1972 - 23 Vaucluse Rd Vaucluse - RGW and PW - Company Director AND Company Secretary.

1977 - 23 Vaucluse Rd Vaucluse - RGW and PW

3 yrs later:
1980 - Unit 5 / 48 Towns Road Vaucluse - ROSE BAY - RGW AND PW

7 years after TOWNS ROAD
BOTH ARE DECEASED AND ADDRESS FOR THEM IS: 3/ 25 DEVITT STREET NARRABEEN

Within 2 years after AH & DdeH returning from overseas her father (age ~75) and mother (age ~66) are both dead.

This family Coffee Lounge is looking like a Gold Mine to me

And IMO knowing what we know now about DdeH testimony I called BS on the coffee lounge

WHY would the father, mother and her be Directors and Secretaries for a cafe

AH states that he worked in the café belonging to his "in-laws" and this is how he knew the owner of Le Courrier Australien .....

They are all arriving back from their travels in early 1971 ......The Company Director, his wife the Secretary and the daughter Secretary / Stenographer and the Criminal

After this I do question the ethics of RGW - just how well did he know AH

In 1971 there was a coffee shop that was sold very close to this area and a name associated to it was relevant in regards to him - it could be that the Walkers bought this cafe / building - it was sold in conjunction with another building
I will post up after this.

AH ALSO states that he worked in the café belonging to his in laws and this is how he knew the owner of Le Courrier Australien ... he said in his breaks he would walk to the news stand on the corner of Pitt and Market Street with the Cafe being at the entrance of Market Street AND the Owner of the Courrier would frequent the Shop -
(one could understand why if my theory is correct)

LE COURRIER AUSTRALIEN - in the 1970s it was at 396 Kent Street Sydney

RGW WAS BORN IN COOLGARDIE WESTERN AUSTRALIA

* THIS IS NOT THE END OF KIMBERLEY DEVELOPMENT PTY LTD THOUGH

It is a pyramid company and if you do a search on the company you will see more recent activities along the lines of what AH background of crime also is.

If you also do a search of Liquidator. L. B. HUNTER, Official Liquidator, c.o. Wallace, McMullin &Smail
you will find a mountain of other fraudulent
activities.

Lawrence Brian Hunter was a Liquidator in the late 1970s, he was a partner in Wallace McMullin & Smail and headed up the Insolvency division with Peter Allen and Arthur Andersen.

Arthur Andersen = ASSOCIATED WITH Southern Cross Airlines Holdings Ltd (In Liquidation) v Arthur Andersen & Co

He is one of Australia's most respected auditors, but last night Stuart Gooley's reputation was under fire after he was reprimanded for failing to detect fraud in the accounts of the failed Southern Cross Airlines. Gooley, a senior partner with Arthur Andersen in Melbourne, failed to perform his duties adequately in relation to the 1992 audit the Administrative Appeals Tribunal found.

Southern Cross was led by fraudster Doug Reid, who is serving an eight-year jail term for his role in the collapse.

"Richard Lloyd Westbury" with his multiple trips...

Im so sorry those posts were so long

I tried to make it more condensed and easy to follow - hopefully
It has been months of trying to work it all out
So many links and each one takes you on another trail

Remarkable research Mishy. You should be on the NSW Police payroll not that you would want to be! It explains a lot as to why her family never disowned him knowing full well of his criminal past and why DdeH should be fully investigated in conjunction with him. That Fredy David lie at the inquest was committing perjury and she knew it which is why she delayed the answer.

My previous post I mentioned -

IF they had anything to do with owning a Coffee Lounge it would have to be this one IMO
It has been mentioned here before at some point when we were trying to find if there was a cafe

The same area that sits with AH and D testimony ( if you believe them of course - I dont )

But for me it is the fact that not only did Moccador have multiple cafes in the CBD and it WAS called a Coffee Lounge as DdeH says at inquest....

107 Elizabeth Street
111 Elizabeth Street

It sat right at the Theatre and was to be sold in conjunction with St James Theatre in 1971

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY
Way back in 1950 ....

there is a little writeup about it and its Manageress:

Miss Iris Stein, of Woollahra, arrived by Monday's plane to spend a holiday
with her sisters, Mrs S. Christophers and Miss Joyce Stein

A few weeks ago she had her tonsils removed at the Waverley Memorial Hospital,
and is now recuperating before resuming duty as manageress of the Moccador
Coffee Lounge in Elizabeth St., Sydney.

They probably know each other!
Taking into account AH decades of criminal activities in Aust and this tool decades later, what is glaringly obvious to me after reading this article, is the policies and procedures by Australia's Legal Departments and Government Departments HAVE NOT CHANGED !!!!

"John Winter, chief executive of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association, slammed the “systemic regulatory failures” - John, you got that right!

He was "declared bankrupt in March 2020 and remains an undischarged bankrupt, meaning he is disqualified from managing corporations and being a director of a company. But company records show that Du Pont was between November and March reinstated as the sole director of Dupont Zedong Private Capital, a company he registered with his wife in 2014".

Pathetic Department Legislation and people not doing their job leads to criminals like AH and Phillip Wickham ripping off victims.
It’s weird and depressing to realise that unless someone’s dodgy dealings are in the millions of dollars it’s just not considered worth the time and effort. Yet the impact on the lives of the humans involved is presumably just awful

Franck Melan google search: I need someone to tell me if I’m hallucinating here. I’m not, right?!
All the company look-up websites also have heaps and heaps of documents for Franck M’s ‘real estate’ company.

If you do a search on here you should be able to find some more info on all of this - IF it hasnt been taken down that is

The first two relate to his coin hauls and family connections and the others to a massive taxation cash cow connected to an address linked to Folkstone UK

Yes totally another lie of hers. So many of them when you go back and torture yourself listening to it all again after what we know now.
Of course she knew him as Fredy David on that ship. She wasn't about to say so though because that would mean she knew he came in on a fake passport.

She probably had NO idea his real name was WW until much later

I mean in her testimony she says, she WROTE to him in prison......HOW??? Where would she address it and to whom? He was in prison as Willy W at the time. And she and her family knew him as Fredy David the Ships Photographer.

Either she lied about writing to him OR he wrote to her first - He would be the only one to know her address !

Outstanding, @mishy66, yet again. Absolutely right that the enmeshment of AKA with Diane’s father and family totally explains AKA’s foot on her neck and her (and children’s) willingness to accept it as normal. Just family business as usual. (Not to mention his entry into Australia with no consequences.) Although the Walkers may have reaped what they sowed when they stopped being useful, which makes me think Diane has a trust AKA can’t touch. No casual grifter, AKA’s been acting mafiosi since grammar school. Country by country.

I wonder what Diane's wider family think of all this? The ones who never particularly liked AKA in the first place IIRC? I know we can't sleuth her innocent family members but surely they have information about the behaviour, locations, names, and odd manoeuvres of the couple. Especially if their loved one was married to a man they possibly loathed?

Just to add to this Coffee Lounge and going on the back to his story of his walk to the news paper stand on cnr of Pitt and Market St
And that of the Kimberley Development Company and its address at 181 Elizabeth St from 1972

"The grand cinema closed on 20 March 1971 and was demolished to make way for a 26 story office block".

The Moccador Coffee Lounge contents are sold at auction March 25

The Walkers and AH arrived back into Australia 10 March 1971 after leaving for holidays a year earlier on 19 January 1970 - ( incidentally it was ONLY the day before the Walkers left that ER was born - another coincidence! )

St James Theatre at 107-111 Elizabeth Street demolished in the 1970s for the construction of the St James Centre office building.
The building was bulldozed in 1971 and rebuilt by 1973 into a 19 story centre = ST JAMES CENTRE - owned by The Government Insurance Office of NSW ( GIO) which they purchased from MGM

LINK FOR IMAGE
The Sydney Morning Herald - 1 Apr 1973 - Page 17

This floor plan of the connecting streets is very telling with what AH says about walking to and fro to the newspaper stand of LCA - BECAUSE IT IS AN ARCADE ! - ( Probs the only thing he was honest about in regard to his walks!)

So THIS CAFE - the Coffee Lounge that was at 107 - 111 in the old Theatre Building it is well and truly gone by March 1971 and 1974 when the both of them said he worked at her parents cafe

But looking at this map and looking at the address of the Development Company at 181 Elizabeth from their new premises in 1972 - it really is just a stroll through arcades for him - SO many shops to explore and business people to meet for him!

Fingers crossed the coroner recommends the police finally investigate as if the victims and their families are /were telling the truth. And that the ATO, Centrelink, Immigration, etc actually investigate, too. I still can’t work out if ‘recommending charges’ is in the Coroners jurisdiction. In my ignorance, I expected an arrest outside the courthouse after the Inquest. I mean, the circumstantial evidence is damning, isn’t it? But I’m not a lawyer.
I wonder if the Coroner can make the (then) police accountable? All just my uneducated opinion.

***spoilers***

The latest episode announces the end of TLV podcast, and a book to be released in May entitled The Lady Vanishes, written by the podcast team. There will be one more episode after the inquest and then it’s finished. Wow.
