That's actually quite plausible.

Being sprung could've triggered a 'fight' reaction from PS with unintended deadly consequences...

My initial thought exactly.. he was somewhere where he knew he shouldn’t have been, lil William saw him n could have spoken words like “you can’t be here” that would explain the tape of savage talking to himself saying “you don’t tell me you’re just a boy I tell you”.. out of fear of being caught out from a little boy who just might tell....

The search, involving four-wheel drives and cadaver dogs, comes less than a week after senior detectives were accused of having given up on William.

It covers the same ground near Heron’s Creek that was searched last August, and is near where convicted pedophile Frank Abbott, 78, lived in a caravan before he went to prison on child-sex charges.

The search comes as the new head of homicide in NSW, Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty, moves to assure the public that police are “committed to finding William Tyrrell”.

Thanks Doc - so now there’s a new head of homicide in NSW, ‘Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty’ . I must admit I’m really confused about all these Police roles & who does what / who ..
I want to know who’s responsible now for William’s investigation ?

Hundreds of people have been dubbed "persons of interest" during the investigation and a case detective admitted during the inquest there's "a very low standard to meet in order to become a person of interest".

Counsel assisting the coroner Gerard Craddock SC in August stressed that any suggestion those called to give evidence were suspects was "simply wrong".
"This is an inquest and not a criminal trial," he said.

Fresh search in William Tyrrell case

Well, that's interesting to know.

I also think it’s comforting to know Prime - all stones turned over, is my motto ..

prayers please again that answers will be found for William & that justice will be served ( also world wide that good may triumph over evil ) thank you ..

depends what the rules are for each one, some let you take one as a reward, you can also leave something for others to find at the same location, could be a message or a group photo maybe a small trinket, even a website or twitter account to see other people who went there, sometimes you have to report back what the item is that was there at the time as proof you went there, some owners of the caches change them weekly to keep it exciting, we went to one where the cache creator left homemade boomarks to take if you found the cache so it really depends, others it was just an item to find and take a photo of/with and rehide it for others to find

there is a geocache website you might be able to check if indeed there was an old cache there at some point and what the rules or clues were see if the WT was apart of it

I’m thinking you’re referring to the ‘trinkets’. I’m more interested in the message on the tree - is that in line with the geocache fun ?

What does everyone think of PS reactions to Jubelins questioning in the podcast EP?
Because PS didn't outright object to Jubelin's discussion about section 61 certificates, it made me think that he could've been considering the option...

He certainly didn't come across as being 'confused' or 'forgetful' either.

I don't really want to know what happened to PS as a kid but I found Jubelin's referral to it disturbing and potentially very relevant.

All MOO

After a little more research and listening to the podcast Crimelines true crime on William Tyrrell, closer to the end of the podcast a discussion is had on what could be the meaning behind the spray painted message. The podcaster Charlie who is a fellow geocacher talks about geocaching as being somewhat of a treasure hunt where someone will post a cryptic message possibly with co ordinates for others to find and LOG once found.. often the cache will leave a jar filled with trinkets just for added fun I guess.. each and every cache is logged but this particular cache found under the spray painted tree hadn’t been logged and must have been there for quite some time.. her theory was that the geocacher spray painted the message so that the cache would be found and then logged.. if that makes sense sorry it’s way over my head.. so that being said the person who left the message on tree was simply thoughtless and heartless and was using what happened as a way to bring attention to his cache.. phew that was complex

thanks & . .

Yeah, when Jubelin was pressing him for his behavior and PS snapped and said she called me after the AVO was put on me and Jubes talks about if Savage thought the postie was in love with him etc (all from memory not exact words)
PS said words to the effect that the postie phone him, and said that she loved him. Something seriously wrong with that man.

Lying seems to come almost as a reflex if any finger is pointed at him....yet when Jubelin was asking him about his forays onto FGM property, at first he denies and says that’s a lie then when a Jubelin says “Heather had to ask you to stop it’s in her statement. Are you saying Heather is a liar “ he backs right off and starts admitting it - yes I was there I was only trying to see if she needed help.

More like - a woman living alone and seems creepily like he was considering her fair game for his unwanted advances.

Wondering if at this time Heather was already diagnosed as terminal illness/perhaps in remission?

Perhaps he couldn’t bear the thought of losing her and being alone and was seeking a replacement?

But the viagra? That gives a sexual element to his efforts. It wasn’t companionship he was seeking IMO.

Was he having urges - perhaps long suppressed as Jubelin alluded to? Had Heather kept him on the straight and narrow “a good woman” - and now this element of desperation creeps in.
The shaking and the crying - what’s that about. In public. It’s like he can’t control himself.

Yes I think it’s not a stretch thinking there is something wrong with him IMO.

Listening to that podcast I agree at times Jubelin seemed within a hairs breadth of getting him to confess - before where there had been protestations and denials - there were murmurs of almost agreement as he was talking to him.

"If it is a case that you've done this and it was just a spur of the moment reaction ... and for whatever reason, something has gone wrong, whether it was an accident or just a brain snap for a moment," Jubelin told him.

"I don’t see this as, if you're involved in it, going to jail ... I see this as a possibility you get the treatment you need and we put to bed this case for the parents."

"If it is the case that it was an accident hit by the car or whatever I could understand how I would panic. I think anyone would panic.

"What I do know having done homicide for over a quarter of a century is that when people, whether it is an accident, all that, when they get it off their conscience the world is a better place because it’s a horrible thing to hang onto, and I’ve seen it time and time again."
