I thought he was arrested a couple of hours prior...during TB's funeral? I don't have a quote offhand but I thought that was around 10am. Search of MM's house started at 1230 so the forest search would have been after that.

My point is, maybe MM started talking right away once arrested? I hope so...

All MOO.

That makes sense. If they had a couple of hours with her in an interview room and LE were at the house, knowing that he had been in the backyard area of the house during their surveillance of him, then putting the two things together may have been the reason they were looking in the forest for a weapon.

Some of the seized devices hadn't been used in a long time.

Things that make you go "hmm"...

Why would this make you go "hmm"? I'm sure there are all kinds of electronic devices in everyone's house that have not been used in a long time. :waitasec:

Did I read that right? MS was skateboarding when DM was in prison? Are you kidding me? Skateboarding? I'd be busy watering my newly started cactus farm in Mexico.

Don't get your hopes up. If Millard committed that murder, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be handing out souvenirs to an idiot like Smich. Like TBs phone, that iPad would be gone, pronto.

I think you're looking at from the perspective of how DM acted after his 3rd alleged murder, IMO.

When LB went missing, and a few months later his father, WM had allegedly committed suicide, no one seemed to seriously suspect DM of any wrongdoing, except for LB's former boyfriend SL perhaps, IMO. SL's eye of suspicion didn't seem to cause DM too much worry, IMO. DM had no reason at that time to hide or destroy everything related to either of them (LB or WM) because he thought he had got away with both alleged murders, IMO. I think that false impression only emboldened DM and I would not put it past him that he may have handed the ipad to MS, IMO. It is a possibility.

Until he knew LE had him in their sights for TB's murder I think he thought he was invincible, IMO.

Hope is a good thing and I like to hold on to it closely.

All MOO.

My guess is that if it has anything to do with LB, the defense will move to have it excluded, as it should be. Two separate trials for a reason.
MOO.

I agree. They may be able to present evidence relevant to this case from it, such as these Imessages that we've heard about, but they can't present any evidence of where it came from if it is, in fact, SL's Ipad.

@susanclairmont do we know what Smich did for a living?

A pretty lazy life has this man, does nothing except dog walking, scating with cigarette in mouth :)laughing:), BMX straddling, escorting girlfriend from A to B to C and back, dayly somewhat switching between living homes ............ and so on. My goodness, what should become of him?

I still think Tim knew something bad was going down and tossed that phone. Perhaps a scuffle over it? Which would Explain the phone case still in the truck (if that was from his phone)
I believe Tim was a smart man and thought fast.

Apparently he didn't have a care in the world!

My God, if it were me, I'd be a mess in a corner somewhere trying to figure out how to save myself.

So you don't think TB was killed near his home?

Kamille, can you link where the arresting officer testified that MM didn't say anything? Did he just not testify to what she said or did he actually testify that she said nothing? Trying to remember what was let in and what wasn't.....TIA

Oxley says Smich repeatedly yelled, "Don't tell them anything, babe."

Oxley says he didn't hear Smich's girlfriend say anything back to him.

He also recalls that $3000 (30 fifties and 15 hundred dollar bills) were seized from DM's pocket on arrest. #Bosma

JMO, was this hush money for someone???? hmmmmm

:floorlaugh:

Too bad he didn't get any cash from "the boss" to get away. ;)

Has the phone case been confirmed to belong to the phone and/or TB?

Where was the case found?

Thanks.

The drugs probably helped. :notgood:

I wasn't saying it is. It's just where mind jumped to. Goodness MOO

Respectfully, I know what you said and meant. I was asking you if you had any suggestions regarding the two Apple computers which were also found. HTH and MOO.

I asked:
So who do you suggest the two Apple laptops belong to? Any guess on them? MOO.

I wonder how a guy like MS was unable to sell a gun? That's quite pitiful. No wonder DM seems disgusted with him. Can't even pass gangsta 101?
Did the police check under his pillow?
IMO he could have pretended to have buried it as an excuse to keep the money he got for it.
