I think that what ABro was referring to is that the charges would be public information- not necessarily covered by the media. As an example, if I was charged with a crime in London, Ontario, anyone could go to the courthouse there and get the information about my charges. Could MB be charged with something? Not likely in this case. If ABro is monitoring this today she can correct me if I'm wrong, but IMHO, if she did have charges against her it would be by HPS since it's their case and AFAIK, none of the reporters have discovered any charges against her. MOO
I'm sorry to admit that I'm even more confused now.
Well, maybe not. My chain of logic is this:
1) Criminal charges are public record
2) Which the media can access
3) This is a huge media story so if MB had been arrested, the media WOULD know it
4) And would be reporting on it
Or is there some instance, or kind of PB, where the media CANNOT print that someone was charged?
(Sorry, we've established many times that I have selective stupidity about how this stuff works up there.)
