That is the impression that I got. He was all "shucks" like, no mea culpa, and his huge ego was apparent. I used to find him like able, beautifully dressed, witty, smart and enjoyed watching him on Letterman and his bits on Fallon. What a huge fall from grace.

I agree about his guest appearances on Fallon, Daily Show, etc. I watched him a few times but always felt uneasy....I guess he seemed to be enjoying the attention just a bit too much. He was always witty but his ego definitely took over. I couldn't take him seriously after that.....the lines had been blurred I guess. Too bad because he was really good at reporting the news.
Anyway here's an article on BW in the New York Post today.....he has a long way to go if he thinks all has been forgiven!
