Thanks. I got a 100% bad feeling about this. We need to know the uncle's name as some here are very good at tracking criminals and such. It would be best to rule him out and be able to look for Brooke in case she did stage a runaway situation. Or there is a predator with prior knowledge of her relative's homes.

So this MySpace page has been changed, today...maybe just now, I'm not sure. But it now says "Brooke Bennett is playin wii with heath, hayden, chandler, erica, hailey, and ashley at my house! " and "i will never forget you". These kids are sick. Someone is sick.

ETA: This just occurred to me. But MAYBE...and I do repeat MAYBE, when they said earlier that the girl in the picture was not "Thee Brooke Bennett", maybe they meant that their friend or whoever is named Brooke Bennett, but they were trying to say that it isn't the same girl that is missing. Just a thought. Either way, it's still really weird.

Actually that is exactly what has happened in a few cases recently. Such as the florida beating teens. One girl who had the same names as one of the suspects but up the same type of message to say she isn't the criminal one.

After close examination these appear to either be hoaxsters or people trying to say they are not the missing Brooke Bennett from Vermont.

You know, if she is a runaway, don't you think that her friends parents would notice that this 12 yo girl whos been camped out at their house has her pic plastered all over the news?

I really think (and hope) that this is a simple case that she ran away and the friends are hiding her. We have seen that on here before. She is 12 though and if someone (an adult) is interfearing with child custody they can be charged.

It could be her (in the middle) but I cant really tell the other 2 are sort of blocking her.

I do not think this is any connection to our Brooke Bennett, I agree they might have gotten some people trying to add as a friend and ask questions and are trying to say hey this is not the same Brooke eveyrone is looking for.

Go figure, where are the parents? Where are Brookes parents?

Well if it is her profile, they will know. They have an FBI computer forensic specialist combing her computer. That profile does not look like hers to me from a novice eye though.

Hope she is found safe and sound somewhere and it is just a runaway situation.

I can't and I used a magnifying glass with no better results. LE can check this out much faster and more completely than we can.

Everyone needs to slow down on the myspace thing. First off, it is common for people who are mistaken for someone in the news to put a heads up message to tell everyone they have the wrong person.

The thing is, that atleast one of them that I saw (the naked doll and dreadlock person) was last accessed 2 days BEFORE she disapeared. Unless another Brooke Bennett disapeared 2 days before this one I think that they are related.

I agree.

I saw both of those and yes, they look like hers. The old one that her father created and she was restricted from, and then a new one that she did behind their back. I cant see her having more than that though. What would be the point? The one that is currently being discussed doesnt (to me) look like her profile.

Do we know ANYTHING about this uncle yet? His name, if he is the mom's or the dad's brother? Could be the husband of one of the parents' sister, for all we know, and not even blood-related to Brooke. I just feel really weird about the uncle, I don't think Brooke was meeting anyone at all, not a friend, not a stranger from MySpace...no one at all. The last thing you see of Brooke is her walking away from the uncle in the opposite direction. Someone pointed out her standing with her arms crossed in the store, body language that can show someone being ill at ease. Suppose he and Brooke had had words before they went into the store and when they left she was angry with him and stalked off in the other direction...what you don't see is if he got into his car and went after her at that point, picked her up outside somewhere...and is there any proof at all that a cousin or anyone else was waiting in the vehicle, or is this just hearsay?
