I've seen it to preserve evidence in many cases.

LE is likely taking and conducting soil analysis among other things.

In the Tim Bosma case, anthropologists worked under cover to sort evidence, which included burnt items and bones.

I think it is done to shield LE from media as much as preserving a site from elements.

From Riley Laychuk at CBC'S twitter.

A picture of a large, white dome, in the yard of Chases home.

Looks like an LE covering to me.

Collision Renactment Team???

Collision Renactment Team???

The collision team may have been called in to conduct analysis of tire prints or other potential evidence.

However, having looked at the large number of vehicles and people that were ALL OVER their property earlier in the search........UGH

Bumping. There are useful pictures on the twitter feeds, that are not posted on our WS thread.

Praying too for an Easter Miracle! Or even better, a pre-Easter miracle!

Normally I am anti anything remotely "big brother" but having followed too many missing children cases here I'm starting to wonder if newborns should be implanted with gps trackers that are removed upon their 18th birthday.

Not a consideration I ever thought I'd have but if it saves the lives of innocents...

That's a big tent though... It looks bigger than the forensic tents that are usually seen at crime scenes. I wonder if its a party tent put up as a place for searchers to warm up and get meals/snacks.

Can we at WS pick a designated time, and all together hold chase up in prayer?

Yes, since having my daughter I've come to the insane conclusion that I would probably chip her if I could. My dogs are chipped for heaven's sake. I acknowledge that's insane because people tell me it is. But it seems really smart and logical to me, tbh, even though it is the opposite of anything I'd ever thought I'd do.
eta: word to the wise: don't post it as a brilliant idea on your FB status-- it won't go over as well as you think

Maybe it's just me but I have a sick feeling he's right there near the house somewhere. I've tried to follow closely but I haven't seen it: Is there a basement, cellar or well? Just going off the pic above it looks like there might be LOTS of places a little 2 year could get into. I want to keep hoping for a miracle but at this point, with this much time past, the temps, lack of food/water, etc., I'm not feeling too optimistic.
:(

I wonder if Chase can climb and if he is up in a tree near the home. Sniffer dogs may not pick up on his scent and with the focus on the ground the trees may not be searched.

How sweet of you Paula! Count me in to join as a force for Chase...if you'll have me. I'm an atheist but very happy to join with all of my fellow WSers, as one, to support each other and, most importantly show a unified front for Chase's loved ones.

Hugs to all!

Atheist here too but yes, willing to show solidarity for Chase. The search is looking grim...
