Casey Anthony reportedly planning to dump lawyer Jose Baez

Casey is going the way of OJ Simpson - problem is, she has nothing to sell and live on for the next 10 years since all she ever accomplished was....ummm....yeah, nothing. She's going to have to sell herself and no one is willing to pay her directly. She will definitely start getting desperate soon - my money is on Larry Fllint or low budget *advertiser censored*.

I saw Amy Fisher on Dr. Drew's Celebrity Rehab, and she described how it happened to her. She got out of prison (and she wasn't protected for 6 months like FCA, so IMO this is about where FCA is now in this story, desparate for $$$ and apparently liking to send naked photos of ourself out on the internet, at least her "top portion"), and she was desperate for $$$ and no one would hire her in any kind of a job. And then the *advertiser censored* industry came-a-knockin'. She said at first, they offered a medium amount of $$, and then they kept upping the ante, until she agreed.

it was real "soft" *advertiser censored* at first, wasn't too bad in her mind, she could rationalize it, and then the $$ offered to her kept getting more and more and the *advertiser censored* worse and worse, and then she was in the industry and stuck in the cycle. There are drugs and substance abuse everywhere in that industry, it is free-for-the-taking, and she would use substances so she could numb herself to what in reality she was doing, as it appeared from her stint on Celebrity Rehab she actually has a conscience. I can see FCA going this route, so Dr. Drew might get ahold of her after all in a few years, at his Pasadena Recovery Center........

FCA is about there now with the Dirty.com offer, the *advertiser censored* industry is on its way to her door and once she moves to Hopespring Dr. with CA they will know where to find her, if they haven't been already.

ya know??? I find it interesting that the version of events that baez claimed in his OS are not the same as the inference casey makes that george murdered caylee. SOOOOOOO....who came up with the version heard in trial huh??? And could this have anything to do with not wanting them released and baez departure. Boy the games that were played by the anthony family and the DT. The truth always comes out. Dont worry I believe it will in this case. Sooner or later. all imo

I believe Ashton talked about that in one of his online TV interviews. I believe the reason Baez watered it down was to make it more believable so they wouldn't get laughed out of court.

This just makes me so mad. The law is a game of strategy and moves, not justice and the truth. This trial proved that to me. Stepping away now.

I was out most of the morning and haven't had a chance to catch up on this thread but will do so this afternoon. I was never a fan of Jose Baez and found some of his courtroom antics deplorable, but I have a smidgen of sympathy for him in the wake of this latest Casey firestorm. It seems that Baez' hero status was short-lived, and the guy probably has regrets for getting involved with Ms. Anthony.

Losing his home, relocating to Miami, and his own legal problems (assuming there are at least a few) have got to be taking a toll on Mr. Baez, and I doubt that Casey is going to just go away any time soon. In fact, when Casey's probation is over and she is free to travel, I think this disturbed young woman has the potential to become a stalker. If she feels wronged in some way by Jose, other members of her DT, or even the prosecution team, she might start hounding them and make their lives miserable. jmo

I didn't read the eval depo so what in the heck is in that depo that JB and Simms QUIT? Is there proof they did something wrong? In fear of the bar hammering down on them?

I don't get it...something isn't right...are we reading reporters speculation as to why they are leaving? Are they both giving different people reasons to muddy the water? What is going on?

Well - first no there isn't anything about Baez and Simms in the psyche evaluations but they are beyond disgusting for what she is accusing George and Lee of. Also, the video diaries and pics on the youtube have come out.

So who knows if it is a combo of this and the glaringly apparent knowledge that no more money will be flowing to OCA may be the reason - we don't know for sure.

We do know that both issued some kind of statement that "they felt she needed therapy after the trial but refused to see anyone and is like dealing with an unruly teenager". And who knows what that's worth.

But it's kinda fun to watch happening....:innocent:

I have zero sympathy for him or any of the DT. I kind of did for Simms yesterday, but I've changed my mind. They played with the devil, so now they will get the devil's due. If she goes after them, it's because they sold their souls to represent and free her in the first place. Welcome to karma, DT.

Do you think since in the Eval Casey told two different dr's early on that she was abused, molested and even insinuated that Caylee was abused that JB and company had an obligation to report that? They are crimes. We know she is a liar and it is all untrue but didn't they have a duty to report it anyway. Even the Dr. had a duty to report but they didn't. This is why I thought maybe there is a bar issue with this? Just wondering.

But there's a different between Amy and Casey. Amy apparently has conscience, thankfully. Casey does not. Casey has no regrets about Caylee or destroying her family and friends and even some strangers at all. If she goes into *advertiser censored*, she won't regret it or self medicate herself. She'll just love all of the attention and that people think she is so hot, they all want to do her. That's Casey for you.

I've been wondering about that myself. All of those abuse allegations and nothing was done about it? Could anyone actually get into trouble for not reporting it or because she's an adult and not a child, it would be up to her to report it? Lawyers?
