I asked twice if it was okay to post this and didn’t get a “no” so here goes. Please report/delete if it shouldn’t be here.

At the address posted for yesterday’s search (one number down from the location of the media availability meeting today), there looks to be a listing for a small business whose description mentions
1. Air Force
2. Woodworking

Probably a coincidence but there must be SOME reason they are searching there...

Our Story

Usually the location posted for a search is for the initial staging area, which is chosen for numerous reasons -- usually parking availability is at the top of the list, particularly parking for any specialty vehicles that may be expected, but also proximity to the search area, communications, facilities, etc. I wouldn't read too much into that at this point.

I was about to post the same link. I think searchers found something, and now it’s about processing what they found.

Any ideas on what type of tip would lead investigators to do such a large grid search in that area?

I saw on a map that there’s a communications company near the search location and was wondering if there were cell towers nearby also?

What if this is related to the person LS mentioned in her statement yesterday, saying LE has his name. Could it be the older brother with the bath salts who drives a car? There was a commenter on Twitter replying about an angry boy who used to live up there, not presently, who called LE about him 2 weeks ago.

If she’s talking, I believe she’s lying. Law enforcement has said they don’t believe this was an abduction, and I think her statement was merely an effort to muddy the waters, and distance herself.

I think this search is based on her movements, and not anyone else’s.

Woodworking, huh ... any chance TS didn't sell the couch, but maybe one of AS's tools? Ping, ping, ping. Yes, I was out there that day delivering something I sold.

Personally, I’m not. Gannon being dead is a foregone conclusion as I see it, and it’s all about recovering his body, and bringing justice to his killer.

They may be getting close.
Agree completely. [MassGuy was replying to my comment that I was starting to feel sick seeing that the FBI Evidence Response Team was on-site :(].

I hope that they are getting close.

"The search for Gannon Stauch has reached Douglas County. The FBI evidence response team is on site, along with dozens of investigators and volunteer searchers."
Has the FBI team been there on all of the searches? Anyone know?

Crews probe 35-acre area of land in southern Douglas County in ongoing search for Gannon Stauch

Posted: 2:18 PM, Feb 13, 2020
Updated: 1:29 PM, Feb 13, 2020

Eighty-two people were involved in Thursday's search, which covers around 35 acres and was a continuation of the area searched on Wednesday, El Paso County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Jacqueline Kirby said in an interview. She said that the 35-acre search south of Larkspur was the largest that was happening Thursday but that other searches were taking place as well. The FBI was involved in Thursday's search, which Kirby said would like continue into Friday and possibly the weekend.

El Paso County search crews and a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office bloodhound were also involved in the Thursday search.

About the FBI Evidence Response Team: ...

Thanks fam. That's pretty much what I was asking. I mean, from what I understood from Kirby's livestream yesterday she said that they have multiple search teams out and what we saw was just one of the teams. So, I was wondering if that FBI evidence response team would just go out on every search like that. Like make their rounds so to speak or is their presence showing that they found something significant?

In case people missed my earlier post. I'm talking about this: Deborah Takahara on Twitter

Search for Gannon Stauch expands to southern Douglas County

Feb 13, 2020 / 12:46 PM MST

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — The search for an 11-year-old boy missing for over two weeks has expanded into a neighboring county, authorities said Wednesday.

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office announced that searchers were also looking for Gannon Stauch in northern El Paso County and southern Douglas County. It did not give a reason for the shift in the search, which originally focused on the area around the boy’s neighborhood on the southeastern edge of Colorado

I believe LE has analyzed cell phone data and delay is likely related to winter weather/snow cover. I think investigators have been and remain diligent in their search to recover GS. MOO

I am trying hard to keep within the confines of the rules.
That being said- I have read so much material from so many sources that maybe what I can say it like this: two times I have read/ heard LS use the word “accident” when referring to GS.
I THINK THIS IS INDICITIVE OF THE TRUTH.
