OK, I'm caught up again.

So now I'm going to take a break.

I'm going to pour one scotch (Laphroaig) for all the GOOD stepmoms out there. I have one, and if she has any flaws at all, she might hit the wine bottle a bit too heavy once in a while, and she cares too much about how neat her house is.

Then I'm going to pour another for the mods, because in cases like this, they're doing the lord's work.

Then I'll come back here and see what kind of hell you kids have raised since, well, now.

Also, this latest development raised the thought in me that some of the "small evidence" they're looking for is evidence that something WAS there and had since been relocated.

HHmmm? Y'all chew on that while I drink my scotch.

Edit: I'm out of Laphroaig. Just cracked a brand new bottle of Lagavulin 16 instead.

It is possible to temporarily ditch the Apple Watch at a 'clean location' before driving farther out to do dirty deeds.

It also is possible to remove power from a vehicle's infotainment/GPS system BUT that would likely trigger an alarm on the server that monitors the tracking signal from the vehicle.

Regardless, LE could track the coinciding times of when the two GPS's coordinate data diverged if the above obfuscation was attempted.

Except Gannon disappeared on her watch under her care. His mother lived out of state. The least she could do is let her stay in Gannon's room (or a guest room). I don't think parents with a missing child are making google eyes at each other. Once people are divorced (esp with kids) they are D.O.N.E.

But it's all about TS
As with many other topics in this case, there is a lot we can't refer to. I never said anyone was making google eyes at anyone else, which is just about the opposite of what I did say, which was "Frosty". Your last sentence I don't agree with at all.

Couple of things:

my husband travels for work. Gone about 6 months out of the year and has rental cars very frequently. They absolutely check the mileage before and after the rental including Budget.

I wonder if the word salad being presented to everyone equates to this:

The vehicle was rented in hindsight to conceal location and mileage.

The explanation given was “hey, I can’t add mileage to my car, but we don’t want to take the truck because G will recognize it”

Then, she really drove around concealing her crime scene with what she thought was an explainable alibi-going door to door searching

Hello, I'm new, a long time lurker! This case has just been so unusual and so sad, as all missing cases are.

I wonder why, since she paid a 2 day rental rate, she didn't just keep the car until the next morning? She could have put another 955 miles on it lol, only kidding, I think that's an error, but LE should be able to figure out her actual mileage by finding out what the odometer reading was when the last renter returned it.

I agree it could be. And maybe more likely is a typo or an estimate. But I hope LE are looking into it! A 955 mile trip the day after a disappearance would be a bad thing to miss because we just assume it’s too crazy to be true.

RBBM

I strongly suspect that LE has been looking into it. And, if the vehicle has GPS tracking, and they have that information, maybe that information explains their search location(s).

I think it's reasonable to assume the rental vehicle has GPS (or some sort of) tracking. If LS was hoping to evade detection while renting this vehicle, she blew it.

JMVHO.

Chewin on that, clever helpfulcharlie.

I don’t think this can be discussed here since it hasn't been reported in MSM and isn’t public knowledge.
IMO, such a discussion topic (as presented) would not hurt the investigation since it is common practice for LE to interview last-seen-by individuals which, by the way, are considered as "persons of interest" since they may provide potentially useful knowledge.

TS has not been officially publicly named as one. That's odd? No. That's LE attempting to avoid a potential "rush to judgement" defense argument.

I mean for TS, it's all about her. And SHE would be jealous when that's the last thing Gannon's parents were thinking about.

They have, a few times, and for many hours, quite extensively.

It has been mentioned in MSM at least once
