"When we start seeing community spread, there is no doubt that we will be exercising more vigilance in our recommendations for closures, travel, mass transit. But in New Jersey we're not there yet," Health commissioner Judith Persichilli said at a briefing.

Agree !!!!!!!!

Something I consider to be a positive is the number of businesses that are starting to allow paid sick leave for employees. Some of these companies had not provided such before this crisis. IMO, if they can offer it at the current time, they may find it to be a permeant positive and continue the policy.

Stay safe out there, you know what Naomi Campbell would do.

Naomi Campbell has long been an advocate of staying germ-free while traveling. The supermodel even posted a video of her intense pre-flight ritual, which involved wiping down everything close to her airplane seat with Dettol anti-bacterial wipes, last year.

So, it's perhaps no surprise the 49-year-old has opted to step things up considerably amid the novel coronavirus outbreak here: Naomi Campbell

This morning my boss semi-apologized for mocking me for being "crazy" about my coworkers washing their hands and sanitizing. We are govt contractors, and have contracts with state universities, state hospitals, local school districts, county govt offices, etc. He spent the majority of the day yesterday on the phone with the higher ups at the nearby state hospital to organize emergency construction for the areas where coronavirus patients are/will be housed. Hopefully it's not too little too late.

Sooner or later, the reality will hit even the skeptics. Emergency construction ought to do it.

Wonder how many ventilators the average hospital has on property for the hoardes of
patients that will be needing them?

I suspect many untested patients in critical condition will be admitted before they're even tested. Will this delay treatment?
We've already been warned about Italy rationing hospital treatment especially ICU.

Finally some of the dire predictions are sinking in. Hope it's not too late.
