You may sadly be correct but he could have used chemicals to dissolve the remains so perhaps there is nothing to be found at this point? LE might be at the garbage plant to find a fragment such as a nail etc.

Hate to say it but maybe there is no body and that is what they were doing in NC at Sturbridge FORE house? I know the areas are vast that have been searched so far but dogs would have found something before now I think. Its going to take LE awhile to check out all the MT statements so its a waiting game.

They didn't incinerate that garbage yet, it's only been shredded.

He also knew that the house where the banging was heard was under renovation and that crews would be coming in to work early in the morning and risked big time if he left her body there or came back with it the next morning.

My first thought was the neighbors put too much importance in the banging, after the fact, knowing JD went missing the day before. There was a dumpster on site. Raccoons can raise a ruckus in my plastic trash receptacles. Not saying the banging was nothing, just that there’s no evidence it IS anything. I think it’s wiser to look where LE is investing their time and resources to determine where/what they (with more knowledge) believe is significant/pertinent.
 
Local update from Stamford Paper:

"Recent searches have also focused on properties tied to Fotis Dulos’ custom homebuilding company, the Fore Group.

Police searched a metal dumpster this week outside a New Canaan home being developed by the company. Neighbors of 61 Sturbridge Hill Road said they were woken up by the loud sounds of metal banging in the predawn hours the morning after Jennifer Dulos went missing.

Police have also focused on Fotis Dulos’ primary residence on Jefferson Crossing in Farmington, where he has been living with Troconis and her daughter. Jennifer Dulos moved from the property with her five children when she filed for divorce in 2017.

Authorities spent last weekend searching the property and returned late Wednesday with an emergency search warrant. They were seen leaving that night with two boxes of evidence.


Authorities were back at the home on Friday when drone footage captured Troconis and her attorney, Andrew Bowman, leading investigators into a wooded area behind the property.

Police have declined to comment about the searches and what evidence they have recovered."

“She is still considered missing and, as stated previously, an active criminal investigation is occurring,” New Canaan Police Lt. Jason Ferraro said Friday.

Just posted article that LE looked at the Sturbridge Dumpster. Its unclear if the dumpster was possibly replaced or just tipped and either of these events could have resulted in quite a bit of noise. The house sits up higher than its neighbors and there isn't much to muffle the sounds. Garbarge trucks that handle dumpsters are large and noisy too.

Don't think there were any crews working at this site due to cash flow issues. The FORE mini trailer had been at the site and some landscaping had been done but its unclear if he had the cash to finish the project as its looked the same way for quite a while now.
 
Well I can't believe that she hasn't been found if MT is really talking. How could she participate in getting rid of items and not know the entire story of what happened? If she's that involved she knows it all, imo.

I agree - there’s a compelling reason IMO for them to devote this level of manpower around the clock- it’s horrific if true

True, but that is for the area of Albany St. What if she was disposed of somewhere else? Clearly we are all conjecturing but if her body was in one place she would be found. They have been at the incinerator for a long time. I am worried she will not be found. I am further worried that MT has a deal and LE does not have JD.

I don't believe chemicals can "destroy" a body in a matter of hours or even days. And it would be very difficult to avoid having some DNA material survive a chemical insult in the time frame that we are looking at: Essentially 10 days between May 24 and his arrest on June 3. If you dismembered the body and then cut it up even more into smaller pieces, it would certainly happen faster, but even then there is still "residue" left which could be tested.

And then there's the weight: A 50 gallon metal drum filled is going to weigh about 420 pounds. How do you manoeuvre that around?

Agreed! We’ve had some major remodeling done this past year and both the contractor and one of the subs involved requested that we email our reviews to their offices. Our detailed experience can be found on their websites only....not Houzz, Yelp or anywhere else.
 
Afitzy - want to make sure you saw this. I’d posted a ways back wondering if these are the types of things FD did to make his money. Lawsuit’s not finished but FD has the plaintiffs money who is likely not getting it back.

So horrific, but they will find her. Wasn't the report that shredded garbage was in an enclosed area, half the size of a football field and 20 ft. high? It's only a matter of time. And time is on their side since he is behind bars.
