Well the site was relatively denuded after the processing was done. Can he afford to do all of the testing on the plant material it would take to reach that conclusion. Will he have access to the plant material?

I would assume it would be available through discovery. I'm wondering how they'll refute the depression in the earth.

I get the impression that Baez is saying that the owners would not give him permission to go on their property. But he didn't seem to know exactly who they were, and I wonder if he did not simply ask politely.

If they did not want him there, then I can not see how JB could go there straight away? Surely the court would have to send the owners some sort of notice that they were required to let JB on their property. I imagine that notice would have to be in triplicate. signed, sent out, returned, appealed, reissued and lost a few times, before JB actually got on the land?

This argument is really not going anywhere. JB has what he wants now. He cannot whine any longer and they are at the scene doing whatever they choose to do. I am sure we will see it all on Geraldo tonight as there is no doubt his crew is there filming the whole thing, imo.

Yes, HD. Again, he was asking for things he didn't have a right to at the time. What part of that do people not understand? OCSO does not have to include the defense team in their investigation while it is ongoing.

That is like saying when a crime occurs that the defense lawyer is called and asked to go for a "ride along". Not going to happen.

Do LE forensics use stereoscopic photography to enhance depth perception? (to provide anaglyphs) I'm sure measurements were taken.

It's a good thing I'm not that property owner. If I were, I'd have been in the clerk's office right after the ruling filing for injunctive relief to keep them the heck outta there. I heard one of the talking heads say that originally, the scene was released to the defense with the property owner's agreement. They declined. Now are back, getting what they had before but decided they didn't want. Spin spin spin. LOL -- my head AND this case!

In the docs released some time ago, the forensic reports shows a chart with the chemicals that are the same or different between human and animals. The chemicals with pig are the same on that chart. Now, Carbon tetrachloride is said to be a human marker and they didn't have that on that chart. I've spent a lot of time trying to research it but haven't been able to find out if carbon tet is present with pig decomp. I do know that swine seems to be the closest to human and they use their arteries for replacement. Carbon tet can come from other sources too.

I believe the rotting carcass of a pig would be much different than rotting processed pig products which is full of chemicals. Believe me I've smelled the smell of a decomposing pig and the smell of rotten pork products there is no similarity in the smells. Where is it being shown there was decomposing pigs in the As back yard?

I distinctly recall JB being offered by LE to go in to inspect immediately after they pulled out of the area. I guess I will have to track it down, but it was turned down by the defense team saying the scene had "changed" yada yada yada, IIRC. What you put up was what happened later down the line after JB decided he wanted to go onto the property.

Oh, LE will have it alright...but how will JB refute that? What will he say now, that growth is normal in all areas and wouldn't be if the earth had been depressed? If he is going to say that the body wasn't there as long as LE knows it was...what will he base it on? I don't think he has a prayer.

You are correct. And, don't forget that JB and Team did their impromptu site visit en mass before it was released. Of course they weren't allowed access then as appropriate, but it made for juicy Geraldo snips then, didn't it?

The only "remains site" knife reliably reported (By the well respected Journalist NG) was the knife IN the bag. (Thats knife # 3 for those keeping score). I saw no photo evidence mentioned on the photo thread.
